Summary
First year high school student Karin holds tightly to the memory of her childhood love Yuuki-kun; so tightly that she still wears her hair in the same childhood style (two ponytails) to be sure that if they ever meet again, he'll recognize her. Delivering papers to the school infirmary, she meets up with a boy who seems to be coughing up blood (of course it's actually juice). He's an incorrigible prankster who can't resist teasing Karin constantly and pursues her even after she tells him she's still loyal to her first love, much to her consternation!

Ok, this is kind of cute and kind of stupid. The boy who keeps teasing her acts more like a little kid then a teenager and is really dangerous with an anger problem. But in the end, he turned out to be a rather kind guy that took care of her when she needed help. Now is a one shot really called a one shot when there are about 64 pages to it? To me, this seems like a full manga rather then just a one shot but yet Mangafox calls it a one shot. The length of the manga really did bring the tension
that was needed to keep someone interested but its not one I would read again. It was a little different storyline that was a bit interesting but in the end it was all about a childhood love interest.
The artwork is kind of good but the faces look a bit chubby. I like how they had some of the styles but there are times when they show them as kids that it looks really bla. I understand why they did that in that it’s unclear in her mind where her love is but when the kids look really low detailed and sometimes boney and long legged that pretty much breaks the love of the art. |
