Bimajo no Ayano-san

A very funny story of short chapters and an easy reading, in this manga we see the day to day of a mother in her 40s but who has a body of 20 but does not realize it, are several very funny situations and with a little ecchi, a great mango to spend time and read without compromise.

In my personal opinion an excellent manga I had a lot of fun with reading and with the various comic situations, at first it may even seem like it's going to be just another manga perverted but it ends up being a good comedy showing the day to day of an owner of house that is actually a beauty.

I only missed her having more interactions with her son, in the manga has more comical situations with the son's friend than the son itself, this was a negative point for me.

With around ~250 pages total, this Bimajo no Ayano-san is a very pleasant read that you can probably finish in an afternoon.

The premise is as basic as it gets, Ayano-san is a housewife that gets herself into various situations throughout the series, mainly revolving around the fact that she's portrayed as a very beautiful woman, a fact everyone but her and her son seem to notice.

Once you've read one chapter, you've pretty much have read all of them, it really doesn't get any deeper than that. This is not a bad thing mind you. Rather, the enjoyment comes from seeing Ayano going about her day, and smiling with her or at the reactions from the people around her, accompanied with a gorgeous art style. Also can we talk about her outfits for a second? Not only they're really well done, it shows the artist was passionate enough about this manga to have Ayano wear different clothes on each chapter, which to me is very impressive.

Most readers have described this one as "wholesome", and I think that's pretty accurate. Since most of the jokes revolve around Ayano being a solid 11/10 there are moments of sexual tension, however they're mostly handled pretty light-heartedly (still that didn't stop some of us from asking if the author draws porn, cuz my god that art style).

All in all, if you have one or two hours free, I'd recommend giving this one a shot, moreso now that the scanlators grinded pretty hard to complete it (seriously they did the whole later half in like a month, make sure to thank them).

ps: the ending might disappoint

This is a fun little manga. The chapters are short and easy to read.

The story is episodic for the most part with a few arcs spanning multiple chapters. It is easy to follow and has some nice comedy that is well paced and does not have to try hard.

The art is well done and the panel flow is easy to follow. There is a really good attention to detail, especially in the clothes. They do occasionally use those highly detailed faces for emphasis but they are really well done.

The characters are pretty standard but feel just right. I guess you could say the pegs fit the holes they are intended for.

Overall I have enjoyed it. It is nothing spectacular but it is a fun read and I plan to keep up with it as more chapters get released.

There are some ecchi elements but most of it is through implied effect. If there were to be an anime adaption I am sure it would be a much stronger element. That said I would not mind seeing an adaption at some point but it would probably would do best with short episodes.
