Mujaki no Rakuen (manga) 5/8/6/6/6

First things first. My "reviews" system is explained on a blog entry. Which can be found through my profile.
------

✦Story✦
I probably found the story being here the weakest link after the absolutely annoying and pathetic main character. I can't say much aside it being most episodic sequences of main character getting into lewd situations with bunch of kids. There are some developments now and then, but mostly it just consists of great lewds, weak relationship development, rather loose situations, where MC just mishandles naive and mostly innocent kids that aren't aware what they do. And yes, this time around these are actual kids rather than lolis that don't act their age. Anyhow, I felt that the whole time loop and travel was also rather weak and how all the things got wrapped up was rather messy and underwhelming.

Point being.. I just felt the story element of this manga was rather dull and obnoxious at times. But lewds were the most enjoyable part.

✦Art✦
Very solid, interesting and absolutely lewd style. The aspect of erotica and all sorts of "situations" were simply hot. Got nothing else to say.

✦Character✦
MC I absolutely detested on so many levels. I found him way too obnoxious and pathetic in various ways. But well, he made use of his "gift" in a rather lewd way for the most part. And in a lewd way that just was an absolute pain in the butt. Other than that he simply pursued his failed love and eventually by meddling with time, rather lot of things got tweaked in his timeline.

Now as for female cast. They were all kinky in their own way and had their set of looks, personality traits and feelings for the MC. For the most part I enjoyed the female cast, where few I actually liked, but mostly their lewdness was the juiciest part.

✦Enjoyment & Overall✦
Aside obnoxious MC, lackluster story and underwhelming way of wrapping things up. It was still rather enjoyable reading and for sure rather hot reading.

Lolis I don't mind, since they are mostly adults in small body (or even gods) and so on. (meaning they don't act their age) But actual kid characters are not my jam.

At the very first chapters you have to question whether or not you're actually a pedophile for enjoying this manga.
Story-3
The story actually has an interesting take; a good for nothing 25 year old, who travels back in time gets to live out his days as a dirty minded 25 year old in a ten year old's body. I'm sure multiple people would want to travel back in time to redo their lives or to live out simpler days, but this manga isn't a drama it focuses more on the comedy and the innocence that you probably had as a kid, and then twists those innocent situations into straight up ridiculous sexual references. Maybe I have the humor of a dirty minded 25 year old but I did find myself laughing at the unrealistic situations. The story isn't deep, meaningful or meant to move something inside you. The author wrote it for people to have fun reading it, so it's not compelling in anyway.
Art-9
The artwork for this manga was really something. The characters are well drawn, and each chapter was nice to look at. He made the each girl distinguishable in their own right and dang cute.
Character-8
The characters themselves I loved. My favorite characters were, the too innocent for her own good Sayo and the super playful but dumb Manatsu. The MC doesn't go through major changes, he learns a lesson but I believe it's a lesson everyone would learn if they went back in time; to try harder. His feelings never change but the characters around him do. The story might be about a boy name Shouta but he is isn't the best character by far. I guess a harem is really only as good as the girls in it.
Enjoyment-8
I usually read manga on my phone while dropping a deuce and I would look forward to the daily deuce everyday to read this manga. The story made me feel nostalgic and think back to days in elementary school and how naive and innocent I was. The comedy hit a funny bone with me and I found it to be refreshing although I didn't like the ending or the girl he ended up with.
Overall-8
The manga has very strong lolicon themes and I do advise against if you do not have interest in that type of thing, but beyond me not wanting to read this in pubic this manga was a good find. If you're a lolicon, or a dirty minded guy with a childish sense of humor I would say read a few chapters.

I couldn’t help to bring myself to review this manga, when I read this manga sometimes I need to ask myself “did I just become pedophile?” or “have I lost my sanity?”. Well, I am not wrong if I thinking that while reading this manga since Mujaki no Rakuen is basically about a bunch of innocence grade schoolers showing their body and do “naughty” things but what makes it worse is this manga is just so interesting in many ways. What a guilty pleasure.

Mujaki no Rakuen story begin when Shouta Handa, a 25-years-old NEET goes to his reunion with his former classmates but suddenly he tripped at the school pool and somehow it throws him back to go back when he was fifth grade. Since he didn’t want to ended up as NEET again in the future, Shouta trying to change his life from now on.

Based on the premise, This manga is really fun, however at the same time there is such feel of guilty too when reading this. If you’re okay with seeing naked body of fifth grade then I think you would have no problem reading Mujaki no Rakuen since that is the main show. Exposing an “unripe fruit” is one of the main interests, in this manga you would be served by so many fanservices that probably would awaken your lolicon spirit.

Another interesting parts of this manga is the innocence. Besides Shouta who is already adult in his mind, all the characters in this manga are still kids. Like when they have to change their clothes surely they didn’t mind about changing in front of their opposite sex since their mind is still “pure” though its different case with Shouta or like when they think kissing could make baby. Its pretty fun to see all of them and remind us when we’re still kids.

Another part of innocence that makes this manga interesting is the romance. Its really fun to see all the innocence kids fallin in love. In this case, our protagonist Shouta is being liked by many girls in his classroom. The way how they reacts despite not knowing their true feelings toward the protagonist is really cute.

For manga that released in 2011, Mujaki no Rakuen art is quite top notch. The background is really beautiful and quite detailed, it really giving us the vibe of surreal environment. The characters design is also a eyecandy for readers, they’re all really cute and really likeable. I think there isn’t any problem within the art itself.

In the end, this manga is quite good for those who’re looking for “refreshing” manga that didn’t need to much thinking. For myself, i really liking this since i found the enjoyment when reading this manga However, do not expect some plot in this manga since this manga is mainly focussing on ”arousing” you rather than giving you stories.
