Nidome no Jinsei wo Isekai de

First two or three chapters i'm not gonna lie are pretty bad. They are slow and boring and was thinking that as soon as i get caught up i'll never read this again. Well i was thankfully proven wrong.

Some things the story does is interesting. Such as have the Klutz and not brilliant girl of the group be the black haired lady that is usually reserved for blonde bimbos. The Blonde bimbo in this is pretty smart tbh.

I also thought i wasn't gonna like the MC, Which is a main problem for stories with male MC's. But i ended up liking him and learning about his history later on was also interesting.

I really enjoyed how the MC isn't a pussy and just straight up kills people that don't offer him anything. When the MC goes apeshit then it's kind of nice.

Besides the first two or three chapters, I can't say i found much else wrong with the story. Maybe later on in the chapters where the entire groups of adventures are killed and turned into zombies. I really jsut didn't like that the group full of girls were killed.

Wish there was Yuri but that's only a dream !! But no joke i thought that after we saw the demon get killed and him starting to talk about a new body for him. I thought he was gonna turn himself into a girl so he can go after the MC's D.

Overall a fun story with a rough few starting chapters.

So this is an isekai story with a "different" kind of Main Character that is beginning to be the new norm. Not good nor evil, but does what needs to be done. Still this one stands out, and here is why.

Review of Vol: 1, minor spoilers might show up. (Due to personal opinions of the author, the anime was cancelled and the continuation of these novels is yet unknown.)

Story: A world on the brink of destruction, and the MC is there to save it all, indirectly at least. He won't have to fight, or do anything heroic. He only needs to live there and travel around to spread a certain resource God put on him. Simple enough. This made it interesting since the story could evolve into something unique, a fantasy world where our MC simply lives his life.

Unfortunately he saves a highborn, clueless (stupid) woman and is forced by her very beautiful bodyguard to join their adventurers party. Making it a typical platonic story with several women and one male. With more females to join in the future, I doubt sex or romance will become a part of this. Making me question what the author wants this story to be like.

Characters: This is where the novels are unique in at least one way.
The MC is a reincarnated old man given a 18 year old body. And he was a "sword master" that killed thousands of people in his original world, with a sword! Did I mention he was a member of the Chinese mafia, then fought in a war? While his memories are gone, his body and instincts to slaughter remains intact. Which is the one thing to make this series interesting.

Then we have a bodyguard, the knight/priest blond big-boobed woman whom is nothing out of the ordinary. As well as her client, the highborn (possibly princess) woman that knows nothing about the psychology of men, thinking nothing about being with 6 strange men in a forest. What could go wrong?

Of course the loli Goddess with her own inner-monologue chapters is barely worth mentioning. Since she's there for the gags, and to guide the girls to our MC. A harem creating mastermind.

Overall: So while the MC is unique and might provide with needless slaughter, the story and rest of the cast is nothing special. It tries to be dark-ish and make it seem mature. But within the first volume there's already been a sex-refusal from our main character. Along with helping those in need and having everything go their way. But the writing itself is not bad, and there's nothing to really complain about. I will continue reading it, if only to know what this story is actually aiming to become.
