One Punch-Man review
After seeing the anime version the second time, I just had to check out the manga. Season 2 wasn't going to come out for some time and I couldn't wait.
I was not disappointed. This marked the first time I stayed up very late to read a manga, heck, the first time I stayed up late to read at all in a long while. One Punch Man (OPM) as a manga is highly entertaining, with a plethora of fights that are brilliantly illustrated in such a way that you can easily imagine their happening in real-time. They're very fluid. The powers of these heroes/monsters are epic. I love how when a new hero appears his/her name is shown with his/her class and rank. One of the aspects of shounen that really make you want to keep watching is the aura of mystery surrounding strong characters -- even after having caught up with the manga, I still don't know about the abilities of some key players that will definitely play an important role later on. One may say that OPM has too many fights once it gets into its main plot, but its main plot is such that many fights are bound to occur, and besides, it all contributes towards ONE's motif of what it means to be a hero. Like its rival, Boku no Hero Academia, OPM is a tale of heroism for a protagonist who defies the odds, albeit in a different way. And unlike the fights in Bleach, for example, those in OPM do not consist mostly of talking and using the same modes of dialogue over and over again. The hero(s) and monster(s) meet, fight, and an outcome is established. I do criticize the scarcity of hero deaths (although there are plenty of hero injuries) in comparison with the myriad monster deaths. However, it would certainly shake the mood if heroes were to die, and usually if "good guys" die they only do so for a reason. I'm primarily an anime viewer (52.2 days of anime, 0.9 of manga) so I can't really say this with backing -- but of the manga I've been reading so far, OPM is one of the best illustrated. The attention to detail is insane. To think that this actually began as a webcomic that's still going, which was converted into a manga, which was converted into an anime. The disparity of visual nearness from webcomic to screen is just amazing. If you read manga for the art, then read OPM. If you like unappreciated heroism, then read OPM. I'll write a more detailed review after the manga finishes. Let's hope that doesn't come for a long, long while.

Kingyoya Koshoten Suitouchou review
Kingyo' Used Books is like a time capsule through Manga history. The stories deal primarily with people who wander into the bookstore and find that manga that triggers fond memories of childhood. I imagine I identify a little more with the characters, since most portrayed are in thier mid thirties or older -and as such childhood memories have become a little fuzzy, and also more cherished.
The book is full of little asides detailing what manga is being highlighted, with info on when and who published a particular story. It also is a little frustrating, because you get the feeling you'd love to get the volumes in question, and realize it is all in original Japanese! The stories are all fun, the store is the nexus of each tale, but not always where the drama occurs. I felt the different stories were weaved together well with the common theme of the store. The art was very good - clean, crisp, and the characters were very easy to identify - a particular pet peeve of mine when the characters are indisticnt Characters overall were good - different aspects of life were highlighted and all eventually came to the bookstore. Very high enjoyment - I will need to read this again as I tore right through each story. Over all a nine. A great slice of life manga!

Saikyou no Shuzoku ga Ningen Datta Ken review
Rating is based on personal ENJOYMENT. Technical-wise, I think it's 5 or less.
It's a world-building isekai fantasy with an OP MC (that is a walking treasure trove of power-ups and boosts) meant for casual and ecchi readers. Art is average. The manga is fantasy-driven - not the genre - since its appeal is on fan service and what men presumably like. It’s pretty much a notch below hentai. It's for light and casual readers not looking for anything deep and meaningful nor dark and intense. Especially when it has harem and ecchi. Its end goal is to build a base for the MC to peacefully live in; because him siding with any nation would bring catastrophe. Again, don't look for anything deep and meaningful because you'll only be disappointed at pretty much everything, thus eventually dubbing this as trash after the first few chapters - which I agree(if I had expectations like yours). If you can get past its downsides with laughter(mockery) then it’d be a good pass-time read. My advice: If you like peaceful(boring) development that is reasonably paced(debatable). Go ahead. If you want frequent(frequent) but not overly dramatic fan service. Go ahead. If you appreciate an OP MC who's not a badass(he's a merciful coward) and who - like all men - fantasizes and does perverted things, and at the same time is stupider(100x) than you. Go ahead. For the ecchi lover: Uncensored chapters confirmed though the censored ones are the majority. Lots(lots) of kissing, expect kinks. MC can take chances. Overall I enjoyed it, it's boring but good enough to pass time.

Ice Ice Baby review
I think this manhwa is really sweet and funny. It's nice to see that the girl isn't chasing after the playboy.Instead, you have the playboy after a girl who is straight-foward and indifferent. I find it cute the way he turns into a lovesick puppy whenever he's with her or thinking about her.

Sexy Guardian review
To summarize the theme of Sexy Guardian: All men are rapists in waiting, so best to find one that you kind of like who can protect you from everyone else.
Story (2): On a high level, this is pretty stereotypical: girl goes to new school, finds "knight in shining armor", they fall in love. It's a sexist storyline anyway, and this is a poor rendition of it. Basically, the plot revolves around someone noticing the main girl, trying to rape her, the hero swoops in and saves her just in time, then they have a small falling out and it all happens again. Art (5): Stereotypical shoujo/josei artwork. Looks like dozens of other manga. Character (1): Seriously, every guy in this manga is a rapist, except for the "knight in shining armor" (although he's a bit aggressive about sex as well) and the kindly uncle. The girl is completely incapable of speaking up for or defending herself. Just horrid. Enjoyment (2): Maybe if you like to watch a girl get attacked over and over again... actually, if you're that kind of pervert, just give in and go find some rape-fetish hentai. Overall (2): Just awful.

Bimajo no Ayano-san review
This is a fun little manga. The chapters are short and easy to read.
The story is episodic for the most part with a few arcs spanning multiple chapters. It is easy to follow and has some nice comedy that is well paced and does not have to try hard. The art is well done and the panel flow is easy to follow. There is a really good attention to detail, especially in the clothes. They do occasionally use those highly detailed faces for emphasis but they are really well done. The characters are pretty standard but feel just right. I guess you could say the pegs fit the holes they are intended for. Overall I have enjoyed it. It is nothing spectacular but it is a fun read and I plan to keep up with it as more chapters get released. There are some ecchi elements but most of it is through implied effect. If there were to be an anime adaption I am sure it would be a much stronger element. That said I would not mind seeing an adaption at some point but it would probably would do best with short episodes.

Yoru wo Higashi ni review
This manga had so much potential!
Intriguing story, impressive twists, and interesting characters! It had wonderful world building and good themes. It's about a quest to find "morning" from that dark world. Ironically, the one desperately looking for it doesn't even really need to find it, while those who do are satisfied with the dark. Until, of course, they meet a certain someone. I'm pleased with the philosophical and psychological aspects/themes of the manga. There's just so much about human behavior being reflected in the manga that appear to be applicable even in present time. But I'm not that surprised about it being quite unpopular. It lacks appeal for some reason. (Yes, I think that no matter how impressed I am with this manga) Still.... it's a shame that it ended too soon.

Dead Tube review
After I read the existing 44 chapters I can give my honest review about this shitshow:
DeadTube is way to fckd up and thats its problem. The scenes and storys connected to them are basicly always the same. They all rely on rape, nuditiy, gore and revenge. These things are a very cheap way of writing and also of presenting a story. The actions from almost every single character are not reasonable at all. They mostly "just do" for always the same reason. (money or fetish) I mean, its good if you want to lose some braincells. I cant imagine any1 really enjoying this bs unless you are under the age of 16 (Kappa). This is the kind of shit why so many "normies" dont want to give manga/anime a try and for me its understandeble. 3/10 bye

Oogiri review
[Mod Note]: This review was originally posted for "Nani made nara Koroseru?", and has consequently been merged into Oogiri.
I am a huge fan of the Rosario Vampire manga, so when I heard that Ikeda, Akihisa-sensei was involved in this manga I was really excited, but was this manga good? By starting the manga it is obvious that the Art style and Characters Design is done by Ikeda, Akihisa-sensei and of course it is out standing and personally I almost started crying because it reminded me of Rosario Vampire. The story is interesting but above all creepy, the whole "How far can you kill?" concept, it is not very original since it has been done before in many Anime and Manga, but the story and the execution is done in a way that it is enjoyable and it really shocked me at the end where Reika killed Kyuu. To be honest, the first think that came to mind after I was done reading this was the Anime "Another", since in a way it does follow an identical concept. So far, the only work of Nisio Isin-sensei that I have seen are the Monogatori's Anime which I liked a lot and just like I just mentioned this one is good as well. Personally, I would really like to see this one to be turn into a full serialized Manga, the story and characters have a lot of potential!
