Solo Leveling review
I read this manhwa from a post saying stuff like "This manhwa is better than most manga" of that sort. So of course my expectations were really high because most comments on that post was agreeing with the post.
And oh boy it did not live up to a single bit.

See, the first thing that i saw was like your usual "Zero to Hero" type of story.
The story where Protagonist is like the weakest of all the party/country and then
boom the 'power spike' comes in and he made it all the way to the top of the rankings in like what less than a year?

The thing is the part i enjoy about this manhwa was the chapters before he got his 'power spike' cause at that part of the story the reader wouldn't know what happens next, unlike the story right now where the reader probably already knows what happens next.

The first part of the story was the most likeable part for me cause the mc was working his hardest just so he can have enough money to pay his mother's medical bills
even though he was barely getting enough. And then he went on like a killing spree killing like a few people.

Its weird hard seeing the i guess you call "underdog" MC turn into an emotionless
edgy kinda guy every time.

Alright time for the rating reasons i guess

Story: 3/10
The story huh... Honestly the story pretty much goes on like there's these gates that show up so the world pays hunters to clear these gates. There's this hunter that's called the worst hunter and suddenly he got a 'power spike' and becomes the highest ranked hunter.

Art: 10/10
Really?

Character: 2/10
Honestly i gave it a 2 just because the first few chapters. The MC was made like that (Emotionless, edgy, etc) so the reader can like insert themselves into the story. Besides that the characters (all of them) themselves are pretty shallow.

Enjoyment: 3/10
Nope i just read it cause of the art style

Overall: 4/10
Art carried

One Punch-Man review
One Punch Man is a really fun manga to read. Like it's so fun to read that the filler is fun to read. And what's interesting about this manga is how it achieves this quality, in that the story isn't anything special. It's a shounen through and through, an action fighting manga. It encompasses an endless amount of tropes, and OPM would only be an average shounen if it wasn't for its characters.

The star studded cast of OPM just elevates the manga into something more than just another shounen, it feels special and different. That stems from our main character, Saitama. He is outstandingly written, and the way in which he is placed in the story amongst the rest of the characters that allow him to work the way he does. On the subject of all the other characters; ONE (the author) does this thing where they all belong to a certain trope of the shounen genre. And then, he uses Saitama, as a subversion to explore these characters and their motivations in such a way that it leads to some of the funniest comedy and most engaging scenes / arcs / characters I've ever read.

On the other hand, the art of One Punch Man doesn't push to envelope, but it is outstanding and breathtaking. Yusuke Murata is just able to reach a level of detail and linework / inking perfection that makes me wish all shounens were drawn by him. Everything just possesses of intricacy and no aspect of the picture is compromised even during the most taxing and spectacularly grand scenes of action. The engaging nature of OPM wouldn't be possible without this art, and that is reflected in the original Onepunch man webcomic by ONE. It's the same story and characters, but its the art that elevates OPM above it by a mile.

OPM has the ability to be a thrilling page turner, but it really isn't for everyone because at it's core, it is still a shounen. I enjoyed it, and I'm not exactly of fan of this genre of manga, nor a big fan of action and fighting. I find this manga really enjoyable to read, and I've quite my share of it .It's the type of manga that can become a classic, and I really hope it reaches the audience it deserves.

Watashi no... Megane-kun review
Story (4) - The story is a prime example of what an unhealthy relationship looks like. It Sets itself up with some girl who goes out with a childhood friend who says he hated her for torturing him when they were younger. The story is then all about their relationship with the fact that the main girl is a track superstar effecting their relationship over time, but it's freaky as fuck and totally unrealistic okay. The story is primarily character driven so the main problem is with the characters and how they act rather than the actual plot itself, which is a relatively common shoujo plot.

Art (9) - For as fucked up the story is the art is wonderful. It's not anything to write home about in particular, but it suits the story so well and shows male arousal so well which you usually don't' see in shoujo. It's very beautiful, yet simple art.

Characters (3) - Oh god literally every single character is so fucked up I don't even know what to do. The main girl's only redeeming point is that she is a track genius, but she is so pathetic and dependent and obsessive over her boyfriend it's sickening. Every other word that comes out of her mouth is "megane-kun" which isn't even the guys actual name. Her best friend also has major problems as well, but i won't get into that. Now if you think the heroine is fucked up wait until you meet "megane-kun" this guy is a legit psychopath who goes out of his way to destroy his girlfriends life so she will only need him. It is so disturbing watching him manipulate her and everyone and her. The only mildly likable character is "megane's" rival, but even he has some weird shit going on.

Enjoyment (6) - I don't understand why I find this so enjoyable, honestly, this manga is like a train wreck i can't take my eyes off of. I hate every single character, yet I still read this and mildly enjoy it. Idek, man, idek.

Overall (5) - If you are looking for a messed up story about a psychopath and his needy girlfriend coupled with some really pretty art then this is the story for you. If you are looking for something mildly realistic and slightly relatable then this is not the story for you. This author for whatever reason really likes writing some weird ass kinda messed up stories, so if you want another one read S+M by this author.

High School Musical review
I read this manga because I was like, 'it's the manga adaptation of High School Musical, cool!' And, honestly, it was probably best left as a movie.
Story (1): The story was... non-existant.
Art(5): The one okay thing was the art. The art was actually halfway decent-it wasn't the best but it wasn't too bad. Still, if we were comparing how well they resembled the actual High School Musical cast then... the art didn't really succeed. I didn't expect a total copy of the cast to a point where they all looked EXACTLY like the cast but some of the characters didn't look at all like who they were supposed to be. If it weren't for the character introduction on the first page I wouldn't have known who any of them were except for Troy(appearently Toroy in the manga) and Gabriella and only because it was dead obvious due to how they were introduced and the fact everyone was saying Troy's name throughout the short manga.
Character(1): There was NO character development, there wasn't even decent time for character development, only a measly 10 pages... Just why did they even bother have the character introduction page? The only people who were even mentioned were Troy, about two pages with Gabriella, and a brief page with Chad. No one else. No Sharpay, Taylor, or Rylan(even though they were shown in the character introduction.)
Enjoyment(1): The story was so fast paced that anyone who hadn't watched High School Musical would be left confused and wonder why they even bothered reading it. I wouldn't say it was the type of adaptation that would make anyone watch High School Musical, it might even make someone not want to watch it.
Overall: This was a huge dead storyline and the ending didn't even make any sense. Nothing happened, only a brief mention of a basketball game they won(that they didn't show). The manga had the potential(and still does) to be a good manga if it was continued but, until then, it will just be a lazily ended manga.

STRANGE MANSION review
I'm very surprised no one has reviewed this yet. This is a short, 1 volume work by Kagesaki, Yuna. I read her oniichan control till chapter 4 b4 reading this.

[Specialty: Deviant, comedy]
[Deviant:]

n.
One that differs from a norm, especially a person whose behavior and attitudes differ from accepted social standards.
(Source: http://www.answers.com/topic/deviant)

Story:9
It's excellent given that most of its chapters are abt 13 pages long. The story is clear: A girl who likes her sempai to the extent that she followed her sempai to the same apartment block (mansion) finds herself in a strange mansion.

And indeed, it's full of strange people, including her. There isn't much slice-of-life, nor detailed complications about life being a deviant, but more of the harmonious relationship between the strange residents of the mansion.

First few chapters: comedy and intro
After first few chapters: slightly heavy and in-depth focus on one of the main characters. More stable storyline, and less gags.

To say the least, it is unique, and bears some resemblance to Domina no Do's theme, deviants. Strange Mansion bears some resemblance to Oniichan Control too, its humour and mansion-centric story.

Art:7
Not that much detail. It's ok, not great, but manages to bring out the rough feeling of emotions and so on. But in some panels the emotions were drawn out pretty well. One or a few coloured pages.

Character:10
This is a classic. Unique characters, unique personalities and overall likeable feeling for all the characters. This manga is good in that although most of the characters in this series are deviants they are shown to be human too, and that they experience discrimination, bias and sometimes things don't end up happily as well (Tis' the case for a few main characters)

I won't give spoilers as to what the devaints are dun worry :p.

Enjoyment:9
The ending was a bit sudden. And this series could have gone longer, it seems a bit too rushed. But hey, it's 1 volume only right? So it can't really be helped D: .

I really enjoyed this series as the start was very good. The mangaka lightened the mood with lots of humour in the first few chapters before giving the series a deeper storyline, which is great. I mean, I wouldn't want to read a manga about deviants with a storytelling-style like Ai Kora or Domina no Do, cause after a while the gags will become cliche and story becomes a bit dull.

Overall:9
Read this, if you like comedy. Warning: Dun read this if you can't take deviant behaviour, you might find this absurd if you do or may not be able to accept it.

[One of the most stable funniest mangas i've seen :)]

Ousama Game review
First of all, I want to say that English is not my native language so I may have a lot of grammatical error throughout the review, please bear with me.

This book started off great, really great. The story was interesting, the characters are okay, the realism in this manga is pretty good. It depicts quite well what people do when they are in fear and how desperate they are when encounter death.

Now, the manga do give you goosebumps at many times, it really questions people whether what the characters in the manga are doing is correct or wrong, say if the order was to let register number 12 and 13 kill each other, if they do not do so they will both die in the end, would you murder the other guy? Or would you rather die like a dignified person? It is hard to say which is right and wrong, as if you let the other kill you, you save that person, but the same can be said about the other person as we know. There are many implications to a lot of the cases.

It is really is tense when the plot reached its climax where the remaining students struggle to survive, and then it just went bum.

The ending was unsatisfying, feels uncompleted to me, but perhaps this is what the author wants, overall I think the manga adaptation did a great job in portraying the emotions of people, their desperation, sadness etc, and is definitely a worthwhile read, I mean come on, it only has five volume, go read it, be reminded though, you may not like the ending.

Aladdin to Mahou no Kyuusu review
Aladdin was a manga that I read only by coincidence. I mean.. I bought some old manga magazines that were on sale and Aladdin was in parts in some of them.

Story is about boy that finds magical teapot one day and we all know how it works - when you rub magical lamp then djinn pops out right? So yes, boy rubbed teapot, djinn popped out and he had 3 magical wishes.....

Story 4/10
4 because there was actually some story but it wasn't thrilling or really interesting. Djinn was strange, boy was stupid and telling dumb wishes... ending wasn't thrilling at all. Some school comedy scenes were thrown here too.

Art 5/10
Yes it's old but we can see EMPTINESS everywhere. No background? Ok let's put there some rasters. We can see half of rasterized TV or just some rasters here and there on empty space. Character designs aren't special too, only granny is really well made - she has wrinkles and warm look on her face.
On the other hand there were some nice things too like teapot and dragon.

Character 4/10
I give 4 only because of Grandma and Aladdin. Main character doesn't have character at all and his girlfriend-to-be is just mean and not nice. I really hate her.

Enjoyment 3/10
It's not something you will love or something you will remember but it's really short so you won't be exhausted.

Overall 4/10
Isn't it too high? Maybe it is but I think it REALLY isn't that bad because it's so short. It had some story, some characters, ending and nicely done teapots. You won't hate it, you won't love it.
If you like warm love stories then you can give it a go, you won't waste much time anyway.

Ouritsu Mahou Gakuen no Saikasei: Slum Agari no Saikyou Mahoushi, Kizoku darake no Gakuen de Musou suru review
The Irregular of the Royal Academy of Magic.

I don’t know what kind of innovation did I except from that name.

Ouritsu Mahou Gakuen no Saikasei: Slum Agari no Saikyou Mahoushi, Kizoku darake no Gakuen de Musou suru is a new shonen serialized by Young Jump that is known for many amazing titles. But this one, to put it simply, sucks.

Story wise Ouritsu Mahou Gakuen no Saikasei is as average as it can get. A young boy named Ars is getting abused by every high school magic shonen protagonist’s greatest enemy, Nobles. Yes, you heard it ladies and gentlemen, N O B L E S. Could a story offer something more unique and interesting? OK, I will stop with the sarcasm. After getting abused and beaten up by the ‘patricians’ he meets an old man who takes him in and brings him up as a killer.

Few years have passed, our main character has earned a new nickname Nighthawk because he goes around at night in the city killing people. What a name only a genius could think of. Also, he is overpowered. He can beat anything or anyone, bigger or smaller than this own size. Back to our old man who brought him up, he decided to send Ars to a magic school. Ars is of course mad but is has no other choice, he is forced to attend the school.

Here we are, the day has arrived. We finally get to see The Royal Academy of Magic Ars is attending. Yea, that is the name. As he enters the school gate, he sees a young, one-star girl his own age getting bullied by a three-star noble. Wouldn’t you guess it, our boy goes up to her and protects her. Truly a gentleman, then he gets in the fight with the nobleman and beats him. Yea, he is that overpowered.

I think that’s it for the story, no more chapters are translated yet so I think you get what I am mean by saying its average and boring. Guess we got to wait more to see what happens in The Royal Academy of Magic.

Characters. Bland, uninteresting. The main character, Ars is an apathetic, overpowered guy who you will most likely not like. Others are nothing special so don’t expect to fall in love with them. They might carry ‘good looks’ but nothing else.

Art. I am going to be honest. Art is good, pretty simple but I like it. Probably the only strong factor of the manga. Nothing to complain about here.

Enjoyment. Well, I am going to read a few more chapters in case something unexpectedly interesting happens so I don’t miss it out, but I am sure I will have to drop it in the nearest future. It doesn’t look like it has something interesting to offer.

Overall. If you are willing to waste your time on some bland shonen with boring characters but exceptionally good art(it isn’t top tier tho) then I recommend Ouritsu Mahou Gakuen no Saikasei. But if you are a normal manga reader who want to read something worth of giving time to, don’t waste it on this. It stands out with nothing and isn’t enjoyable either.

Story 1/10
Art 5/10
Character 1/10(If I could give 0 I would)
Enjoyment 2/10

Creepy Cat: Neko to Watashi no Kimyou na Seikatsu review
I found this manga today and since it´s description is really vague I decided to write a review. So even though this manga has now 187 chapters it´s actually very quick read since one chapter equals one page.

This manga belongs to comedy, supernatural and horror genre (which is very light so even a scaredy cat like me is fine reading this). It definitely isn´t a slice of life as MAL states, since it´s about titular Creepy cat that is definitely not a cat. Or at least not a normal one. So if you are looking for sloce of life I suggest looking somewhere else.

The story is mainly episodic though it usually lasts longer than one chapter. It´s about slightly dense girl Flora that moves to an old scary looking house where the Creepy cat lives and their life together. As I mentioned before Creepy cat is definitely not your normal cat since it can for example stretch indefinitely, multiply into more cats or grow big. And when I say big I mean like an adult horse big.

When it comes to characters we have the Creepy cat that is a huge question mark (sometimes literally huge, lol), slightly dense but somehow lovable Flora, Oscar (police officer that fell in love with her a thus has to deal with antics of Creepy cat) and Hime (a kitten found by Flora that is also not a normal cat). There are also other characters like supernatural creatures investigation people, police cat Kokoro and police office staff but we still don´t know much about them.

I really like the art since it´s very different and it has slight Adams family vibes. It´s also in full color though main colors are black and red. Since i read a lot of manga, it is such a nice change of pace for me.

Overall I enjoy reading this manga, though it is not a masterpiece, it is still a very decent read. I´m eagerly awaiting new chapters so I can continue reading this manga. I would recommend it to people who like cats, supernatural, supernatural cats, supernatural creep cats and so on. Thanks for reading this rambling review of mine and I hope you will enjoy the manga.
