Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e review
You-Zitsu, otherwise known as Classroom of the Elite in english is a novel series that I had heard about for awhile (mainly because of the anime), but didn't read until recently last year. The reason that I even started reading this novel was because I noticed it at Barnes and Noble and decided might as well give it a try. I am so glad that I did because CotE has become easily my favorite light novel of all time and I will try to attempt to tell you and convince you why. (This is my first review so my bad if it is not up
to par.)
1. Story (10/10) The story of Classroom of the Elite is easily one of the best parts of this series. When I started reading it, I also watched the anime as well as soon as I finished the parts that were adapted and was surprised at how much different the cores of the story were different from each other. If you watched the anime, which adapted the first 3 volumes, you probably watched what is in my opinion the worst (although not worst as in bad, just relative to the rest of the first year) part of the first year. Although, if you watched the ending of the anime or have read the third volume, you may have noticed a major shift in the story. I'm not going to spoil anything but from volume 4 on the story completely changes from its original Oregairu vibes and becomes more and more interesting. Not only do we get to see more and more interesting exams, we have long build ups and create even better pay-offs. Additionally, in the end of the 5th volume, we get another added aspect to the story that will slowly build up and become a major factor in the future volumes and even more so in the second year. I don't want to say too much, but one thing I will say is that everything that happens in the story makes sense, I don't recall one moment that I though to myself that the thing that just happens makes no sense or is an asspull. 2. Art (10/10) Usually, light novel artworks don't particularly impress me, especially when compared to manga artists. However, I think that Tomose Shunsaku is the first LN artist that has made me change my opinion about this. The character design of all of the characters in this series is AMAZING. I was so impressed with the artwork that I bought both of the artbooks by Tomose Shunsaku and they are currently some of my favorite books that I own. The hair color, the body designs, the way the eyes are drawn are all so well drawn, and if you enjoy that you can check out more of Shunsaku's works because needless to say they are pretty interesting. 3. Character (10/10) I know I said the story was one of the best parts, but I would be lying if I didn't say that the characters within CotE were not incredible as well. First off, lets start with Ayanokouji. Ayanokouji is probably one of the most interesting protagonists that I have ever read in a light novel. When I read/watch that first 3 vols/12 episodes of CotE, I am blown away that I am seeing the same person at all. If you are a person that has only watched or read that first part, and were concerned about him as a protagonist early on, let me just tell you the development that he has throughout the course of this first year is well worth the read alone. Also, his backstory is one that actually suits the story and actual makes sense unlike a lot of backstories of these type of light novels. Not only Ayanokouji, but every single student that has development has their reasons and backstories to fit why they were put in this school and why they were put in their respective classes, which is a super interesting thing to find out as you read. Aside from Ayanokouji, there is so many great characters that have a crazy amount of good development as well. Characters such as Ichinose, Karuizawa, Horikita and a lot more get so much attention and character building, it makes it so hard to pick a best girl. Additionally, characters such as Ryuuen and Koenji add such a dynamic aspect to the story, and their unpredictability makes such a great cast of characters fit together. I could go on and on about the characters, but I promise that if you read this novel, you will definitely find atleast one character to like from it. 4. Enjoyment (10/10) I have never read a novel series or been excited to start the next volume in any other light novel series. I am really glad that I started so late that I could binge all of it so fast. The build ups that occur during this novel and the developments of the characters are some of the best that I have experienced reading novels so far. Not only was this first year really good, it set up the next year to have the potential to be even greater. With a concept like CotE, I could see how recurring elements could end up making this series kind of boring, however with the set up that happens over the course of this year, the second year brings a whole lot of interesting developments that are going to be exciting to experience. If you can get past the somewhat slow of a start that the 3 volumes are, you will not be disappointed in how the story progresses and builds. 5. Overall (10/10) You-Zitsu will likely be my favorite novel series for a long time and with the second year just getting started, we are likely in for a long and while ride. This was my first review, so if you read this far thank you for reading and I hope that I could convince you to read without giving to much away about the story.

Jakushou Soshage-bu no Bokura ga Kamige wo Tsukuru made review
This is my first review, so I apologize in advance for any errors in my writing.
To be honest the only reason I read this novel was because of the cute girl on the cover, but I ended up liking it a lot more than I expected. This novel is entertaining and the art is very good, as for the story while it's not that original, since the concept of apathetic boy joins a club is cliché, the execution makes it feel different. As for the characters, the protagonist has a good development and is likable, Nanaka serves as a good support to him and the rest simply fulfill some specific role. So to sum up, I recommend this novel, it's not very original but it's entertaining, the characters are likable and overall it's a read that will leave you with a good taste in your mouth.

Sex review
Before any of you say anything; no I have not gone to 'THE DARK SIDE' and become a voyeur hypocrite. This story is NOT pornography.
Underline. Underline. Underline. Thank you, I CAN read the title and it is NOT about sex. I know, what the Hell was the author thinking. It's like a cook book called 'GREASE' (it just has to be all caps, don’t bother asking why); maybe it was an inside joke? I don’t know but hopefully that hammered down some issues. So we’ve got this mystery long-haired girl whose looking for a guy named Natsu, randomly enough she sees a guy who looks completely badass and thinks it’s him, following him into some apartment. And there is where the story starts… *Cue suspenseful piano music with trumpet bursts* I’ve only read to the tip of the iceberg so right now I’ve just gotten a taster of this story and it’s certainly not lacking. This whole what’s-gonna-happen-next-…! feeling is making me suffer and I really can’t guess. It’s shocking. But it’s the truth. It’s a shame though that the original scanalator (Village Idiot Scans) had dropped it so I’m like ‘damn!’, hopefully we’ll be seeing some action soon. The characters were pretty solid, and the best part was that they didn’t suddenly do something completely random like slip and fall on a banana or have random chibi faces with huge eyes plus a tongue sticking out in really intense scenes or when someone makes a mistake ( I don’t like them ). There is a certain depth in the Manga that just permeates the reader’s experience; you can feel it as you read, see it on the pages and realise it’s there through the few gestures and conservative conversation. Think about it. If you just met a complete stranger on the street would you suddenly go hug them and tell them your life story: no. Long-hair only follows the guy because she’s trying to find someone (namely Natsu) not because she finds stalking fun but because there is an actual need. This means it is REALISTIC. This is why I love most (keyword being ‘most’) 80s stories because they have the realism that present stories lack. Well, most of them. The art were those stylistic squiggles that I love (they’re not really squiggles by the way)! In a way, mixed in with the plot, they add this lingering poetic feeling. But it’s a choice thing, if you’re lazy or don’t have the imagination; you’d find it lacking. But if you can appreciate the atmosphere that the illustrations create and how they construct an opportunity for the reader to explore the story in THEIR mind’s eye then; you’re good to go. Overall, I liked it; I’m feeling the suspense, I like the fact that the art was unique, I’m digging the characters and almost like a detective novel, I’m thinking: whodunit? This is a definite recommendation for all you suckers who thought that the story was about sexualised rape. A pat on the back for those readers who were genuinely interested cause they’re dynamic and all over the place, they get a free ticket to go read the manga, whereas giver-uppers don’t.

Natsu wo Oboeru review
It's a jewel!
There are two broad kinds of stories in the world. Fun ones and realistic ones. The second kind is rare in manga because most of it that gets translated is aimed at children and teenagers, and is meant only to amuse. Sometimes, though, someone translates a bit of real seinen, and this is one of those rare cases. This is the story of a teenage boy coming of age during one steamy summer, and it's fascinating because it demonstrates how innocent Japapese boys are! We all know that, really, due to the fact that most of the boys in manga are completely passive in their relations with girls and women. The boy here is that way, but in this story he get the first imtimations that there is more to women than he knows.

Akki Goyou Garan review
Manga is like an ocean. It is deep and seemingly endless, and sometimes there are beautiful fish lying forgotten in the dark depths, just waiting to be discovered. This manga is not one of those fish. It is much more similar to the thousands of fish travelling in schools, making up the majority of the ecosystem with nothing more than sheer quantity.
To start with the story is incredibly linear. We don't even find out the back story of our only side character. Each chapter is just the main character sensing evil and running off to kill it. The villains are all one dimensional. There is no moral gray area here, the author writes all of these villains as evil for the sake of being evil. On top of this, there are bucket loads of gore and death that are incredibly graphic. Yet, there is one scene that is censored and I can't understand why, as nothing else in the manga (including the underage sex) is. The characters aren't really anything to write home about either. The main character has one mission, and the whole manga is him fulfilling that mission without ever stopping and thinking about things. He has no development. The side character is a 14 year old prostitute who also doesn't develop much, and even though she tells a small portion of her backstory in one chapter, we don't ever get to really know what happened or even see it in flashback. The art of this isn't a strong suit here. It looks like it was written in the 80s, which would be fine if this wasn't published in 2005. With that in mind, however, the art is hard to appreciate. The only thing that really stood out were the gore segments, as painstaking care seems to have gone into drawing them. Perhaps I was in the mood for gore when I stumbled across this, because despite it's many flaws I managed to get a sliver of enjoyment from this. For the most part though, it's an unremarkable piece of fiction that simply chugs along in the vast ocean of manga, eventually being reeled in for no other reason than pure chance.

Taboo Tattoo review
Taboo Tattoois a manga that basically built itself by recycling elements from previous similar adaptations plus the extra fan-service to appease the thirsty readers.
Story: Akatsuka Seigi is your average Japanese High School boy who got a tattoo from a mysterious guy which resulted him being dragged in a secret warfor those tattoos. If i had a shot of whisky each time i saw this kind of plot, i would die from alcohol poisoning. Art: The only good thing in this manga. The characters are well drawn, the character design is nice, the details, emotions, etc...The artist did a good job in that. Characters: Here is the worst part of the manga. The characters are painfully generic, the spineless hero who suddenly becomes ultra strong when he gets angry, the big titted childhood friend, the badass warrior girl, and other plethora of generic characters that make you question which year did this manga start. Enjoyment: The fighting is good for a while, but the shitty fan-service that is always there at the wrong moment break the pace. The events are so predictable that i get the feeling of Deja Vu whenever i read a new chapter. Overall: Generic. That is the best way to decribe it. If you like fanservice, girl fighting and serious/violent atmosphere, then this manga is for you. Personally, the sheer lack of originality in this manga kills it for me. 3/10

Dungeon Seeker review
I am reviewing this manga as isekai junkie (someone who likes consuming isekai even if its bad), so please be aware that this will definitely affect my enjoyment and view on the subject. In a time when you have so many copy and paste isekai, its nice to have something that breaks from the mold a little. Although it might not seem like it early on it gets more eclectic/original as you go on. It basically takes an Arifuerta-esc premise, and just stuffs in a bunch of Made in Abyss style depression. If you just blast through it, I think you'll just get much less
out of it than is there. The manga is less about the plot and is more so about the characters that are in it.
