One Piece review
*Basically the same as my anime review of One Piece, just edited for the manga*

Let me start this off by stating that this is my favorite story in all of fiction. It is a story I started thinking it to be nothing more than a short (yeah right) and simple (boy howdy) adventure. I had no idea that it would become my most beloved show of all time, and I am truly grateful that I found it and continue to be able to experience it.

Now lets begin the review!

When it comes to One Piece, obviously you got to be in it for the long run (As you can clearly tell by its length), and it's only natural for that to make you never want to sit down and catch up with the manga. However, I can tell you with absolute positivity that the time spent and the length of the story is worth it. In the years that this show has run Oda has created a world unlike any other I have ever seen. A world that since day 1 he has created this sense of scale and wonder that even to this day I feel my imagination run wild with what can come next. He has given us truly breathtaking locations that even the most ridiculous in concept feel genuinely alive, with each of them having distinct culture and atmosphere uniquely their own. As the story has progressed he has given us a detailed map within our minds that could easily be placed onto paper just by remembering the episodes in sequence. There is a reason Oda is known as the master of world building to this day.

Along with world, Oda has filled it with countless characters that will rarely fail to grip onto your mind and heart. Countless times Oda has taken what many would see as shallow fodder in other shows, and given them their own unique past and has able to make such a simple character memorable. He never fails to jerk tears from your eyes with backstories that make you feel for even the most otherwise despised of villains. By the end of the arc characters that you may still hate, Oda constantly reminds you of their humanity and past so that you can at the very least understand them. The respect that Oda shows to side characters is naturally deepened for the main cast of One Piece, and you will find you loving each member of the Straw Hats as well as others with each arc you experience.

These are the reasons I ask you respectably to watch One Piece. It is truly a story unlike any other, and written by a man who has given many years and constant struggles so that we may experience and enjoy what he has created. I ask that you give it a chance, and allow it to capture your heart the same way it did mine and many others.

Kimi no Kokoro Boku no Kokoro review
I may not have finished this series yet but I intend on editing and revising this once I do =]
When first reading KnKBnK I was worried that the storyline would chronicle the adventures of Kazusa and Asuka saving the world one agnsty teen at a time. However that is not the case. Kazusa and Asuka don't want to save the world, they search for hurt souls but instead they just let their hearts out for the world to see so everyone can feel their friendship and love.
Now I'm not artist but I didn't personally find any problems reading the story artwork wise so all I will comment on is the dogs. Now in most shoujo mangas I've found that the animals seem to suffer the most on their design. But in KnKBnK the dogs are drawn beautifully to represent their breeding and their emotions just as the humans are! Which of course being that this is a story about Dog Therapists the dogs are a centerpoint in character development and the plots progression, I believe that the dogs design is vital.
As for the characters, if you just glaze the surface you'll see Kazusa as the typical shoujo boy, he's pretty good looking, fairly good body, sweet, and always knows the perfect thing to say. Wrong, if you pay attention you'll see that Kazusa doesn't always know what to say and sometimes he really doesn't know what to do. But what makes him seem like the perfect boy is because he is devoted to his friends and believes in them. As for Rino, she has made mistakes in the past but with the help of Kazusa and some loving K-9s she begins her journey to discovering what she can do and who she wants to be. Now for the dogs, of course their isn't much to say but the unconditional love of dogs is captured in KnKBnK and their need for love and friendship is also shown in a darker manner to show how dogs may have unconditional love but still have needs.
I know my scores may seem very high to some readers but slice of life is my favorite genre and KnKBnK captures the genre while still manging to shove in some drama and hints of romance. I follow Kazusa, Rino, Asuka, and Kuon's stories with my eyes glued to the pages and my heart full of hope for the 4 to rise above any problems they are presented with. The depiction of friendship, unconditional love, believing in your friends, and finding the strength to go on will make you smile, cry, and feel good about the world. I give Kimi no Kokoro Boku no Kokoro an 8 because the story is simple but meaningful, slice-of-life yet dramatic and enough smiles and tears to wear your heart out.
If you want to read a story about friendship, moving on, dogs, and people believing in each other along with themselves them Kimi no Kokoro Boku no Kokoro is for you.

-SINS- review
Good morning fellow Otakus. This is my first ever Manga review! A one shot by Miura Masataka. It is called -SINS-. I have very very big mixed feelings about this manga as a whole. Something that is normally written as a one shot can be either very good and the reader would agree that it only required one chapter to tell a beautiful story, but sometimes, it can be mediocre, meaning that it would have been best to include 4 or more chapters, not volumes, CHAPTERS!. -SINS, was the mediocre version. It could have been way more interesting if Masataka included 4 more chapters.

Story: The story all in all was mediocre. The normal supernatural, defeating angels and demons type story. I did find Satan as an interesting character, in other words, an interesting playboy.

Art: I really did not enjoy the art style whatsoever, because it made me feel like I'm reading a normal western comic book such as lets say, Batman or Spiderman. Manga art is very unique to a story and its the most important aspect of a manga.

Characters: Just your normal typical supernatural fantasy type characters. what can I say really? I didn't quite get excited whenever a new character was introduced but that's just me!

In conclusion: Normally, when a person writes a one shot, they shot very very very much sit down and think about what they give the audience. As a beginner reader, I might be wrong in this particular stage. Some people might think that I am completely wrong about the whole story and one might even have enjoyed it. Mind you that this is my personal opinion and Im not saying that this is very bad. I am just pointing out that this story could have been BETTER if if was more that one single chapter

Hagure Idol: Jigoku-hen review
Ok, this manga is horrible. This review will have some spoiler from the second/third volume, but honestly you are better knowing those things before reading it. The first volume we are introduceded to the main premisse of the manga. Strong girl fighting to not get fucked and is literally what the manga is about. Which is whatever is a weird and bad premisse but the writing in general is pretty bad in this manga. During the second volume is that when shit really gets worse. Trigger warning: Rape and probably child abuse. This volume already starts weird when one of the mc's friends that is pornstar tell her that her first experience was with her step father when she was 10 or something. Some chapters after this the mc's new manager is raped and beat up by her old business partners and becomes their sex slave for 2 chapters until she is finally "freed" by the mc after the mc and her friends are almost raped. I mean the mc is almost raped the other characters are always being raped during this arc, and after that the manga gets weirder where rape is joked around a lot and even the girl that girl that got beat up and made a sex slave becomes a background character and no one talks about it that ever again. The guy that made the whole underground sex slave arena gets a punch to the face and thats it! If this was doujin I wouldnt give a fuck but this is supposed to be a comedy manga. In general after that the manga gets very ''rapey'' with the jokes on it and I dropped it

Sexless Friend review
I really liked this manga series, until I reached the end. I won't write an extremely long-winded review, but I would like to preface this by saying that I only just finished reading Sexless Friend about an hour ago, so my review may not be entirely impartial. There will also be a paragraph with spoilers in it where appropriate, so you have been warned.

---Story--- 7/10

I liked the story, it had a good premise and it worked well. My main complaints with the story is that; a) it was too short, and b) I didn't like the ending. I will go more into detail on the ending in a spoiler paragraph. As for the length, it felt like the manga would have benefited from being at least 10 chapters or so longer, and I think that the shortness of the series hurt the story overall.

**spoilers for the ending -- YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED**

Let me just say this, I reeeeeally did not like the ending. This is just personal preference, but it's just that I think that he ended up with the wrong girl. Of all the characters, Kizaki was one of the least developed characters. She almost felt like a side character more than a main character. I also didn't like how after being confessed to, she freaks out and actually says "I hate you" and "I can't accept your love" , then she just does a COMPLETE 180 degree turn. We also didn't even get to see her reply to his confession, we just assumed that she said yes because in the last chapter they are together at the school.

It was one of those endings that make you go, "Really? That's it? What about..."

That's about it, other than that I liked the story.

**end of spoliers**

---Art--- 8/10

The art was pretty good, and it had some really good scenes. However, it wasn't anything AMAZING. Not too much to comment on.

---Characters--- 9/10

If there is anything that they did well in this manga it's the characters. I feel like I really know the main protagonist and the other main characters. Kakei Hidetaka also did a really good job of creating tense situations, and awkward encounters.

---Enjoyment--- 8/10

The ending aside, I rather enjoyed the first 13 chapters. Not too much to talk about here.

---Overall--- 7/10

Although I really enjoyed it and I loved what the Kakei Hidetaka was able to do with his characters, the ending is really holding back my overall score of this manga. It was definitely a good read and I would recommend that everyone should read it, but it's not for everyone and the ending was unsatisfactory (in my opinion, others will likely disagree with me).

---------------------------------

I normally don't write reviews, but since this seems to be lacking anything resembling an impartial review (the only other review is a fanboy jizzing all over himself, giving the manga an overall "1000000/1" score).

Please don't give this review a "not helpful" rating just because you disagree with my assessment, give it if you genuinely think that my analysis was unfair and/or biased.

HOOZUKI-SAN CHI NO ANEKI + IMOUTO review
It's quite rare for me to bother to write a review, and i won't go as far as to call this a proper review, as i've not finished the manga.

See it as a bit more than a warning; If you have enjoyed the prequel to this one, and wanted more of that; Well, You won't get it here.

If you search for the similar light hearted, slightly ecchii teasing of a pair of stepsiblings, with some more interesting characters on the side, and occasional serious moments... well, You won't get it here.

If instead you read the first manga and wished "Oh boy, if only they'd almost screw each other all the time", eventually even wondering if this one has been made by a entirely different person; Well, you might find enjoyment with it.

As for me? I am angry.
Not only because the first manga was so good, and i just wanted more of that, and not see these likeable characters gutted just to have them whore them out (Going from slight teasing to "Hey, let me jerk you off 20 times a night!"... no, i am not kidding)

But also because i won't be able to ask the author "Why did you change it so much from the first one?"

What else is there for a review checklist?
Ah right, the Artstyle was changed, and gets significantly worse. (I checked the last few chapters to see if something changed, but nah, they just dropped all plot entirely)
Characters have had total makeovers, and are barely recognizable (even more so because of the new artstyle)
The story development just stops along the road.

Well, that's all i have to say at this point. Now excuse me, while i try to shake of this dissapointment.

Did i forget anything? I don't think so.
