One Piece review
Throughout the internet people always says that one piece is too much to spending your precious time on it. Bullshit. You don't have to start from a specific part and all that thing about "how to start watching/reading (a long-time show) that people are too lazy to just sit down and enjoy watching". You may have seen this kind of videos all across the youtube. Same thing anytime. People don't have "time" and come up with this shortcut to everything. Shut up and watch from the very start, from chapter 1. And that's it. Stop making excuses and begin doing it. As any person on the planet already said, the world building is the REAL THING here. Unlike people think, one piece doesn't waste one single chapter to improve its world building. Just keep going. Chapter 1 to 1000. Oda doesn't loses any time to show us, how the world are much bigger than we thought. While Luffy is in an island, messing around, the world's moving. People making war, agreements being made, falling kingdoms, groups betraying each other, all sorts of things. And all of that impacts on Luffy's journey in some way. As his actions too. All come together. It's so beautiful to see strawhat's relationship growing as the story unfolds. And there's the two greatest things about the show. So catchy. If you wanna do it right, start from the beginning. Take it from me. Besides the boring beginning, and everyone says that, it's a really gorgeous journey. When you notice how far did you get, then you'll find out how the story have grow up. Quit talking and begin doing. You'll have the most beautiful time of your life. I can't put in words the importance of this series to me and to many other people out there. Is a thing that you must see for yourself. See to believe, you know. And don't mind the fandom, they all sucks in any piece of entertainment.

Shingeki no Kyojin review
Unbiased review:
The story is easily amongst the best I've ever read. Contrary to what I've seen a minor portion of the more casual readers think, the basement reveal is very well thought out & not an asspull, given the blazing trail of hints showered throughout the buildup to the reveal. Even past the basement arc, the story keeps building up tension & intrigue, despite most major reveals are already unveiled. Given this, it is evident the author seems to have a very good idea of the direction & conclusion of the story. The story is not flawless however; there do seem to be a few number of minor plotholes and questionable character decisions. On the other hand, readers wishing for a more apocalyptic world will be eventually disillusioned with the direction of the story. 10/10

Art: The art is unquestionably awful in the beginning few volumes, but gradually improves. My recommendation is two watch the first 2 seasons of the anime given that the source material is a bit of an eyesore. However, the author's drawing improves exponentially, and reading from chapter 50 is a smooth ride. 8/10

Character: Character development is stagnant in the first season and the corresponding source material. Characters having major roles in the story have no real development until their reveals, after which they are sidelined again. Character development slowly picks up from Chapter 50, albeit for select characters. Characters are on two extremes; either extremely well fleshed out or unknown.
Character development is a highlight of the latest arc, where almost all major characters have some personality shift. 8/10

Enjoyment: Depends on you're drawn to. If its the story, 10/10.
Characters, will vary (although start negatively).
Personally I thoroughly enjoy it.

Overall: 9/10

Hansel and Gretel review
I am so not going to lie about this manga, it’s weird. I mean, I like twisted fairy tales but this kind of goes pretty grim. It’s not that I don’t like it; it’s just that this was very off putting when they started hacking up people and talking a lot about starvation. It isn’t in every story as this is a collection of very short stories but still.

The stories do pan out rather well making things fun and you don’t really know what is going to happen at the end even when it’s as short as two pages. The problem with me is that they were not the laugh out loud comedy I like but more of a sweat drop style comedy with black humor. By the way, if you are really sensitive about religion, do not read the story I.N.R.I. It is pretty much a turned around version of the story of Jesus. I mean it, they have Jesus being the one who is doing the killing and sexual acts and the ones who persecute him are the ones doing good. Very turned around and twisted. Just the fact that it’s in this manga says that the writer believes it to be a fairy tale. And we can get into a whole manner of discussion on everything that is, but I would rather not.

The artwork is… well… different? It’s high detailed and I look up to the person who drew it because the shading is pretty much all pen lines or speckling but it’s just not that appealing to me. This is only my opinion and I am not going to say its bad but it’s a style that I am not that drawn to when it shows ether really starving people or really fat people. When you do see normal people, they are normally being chased by something.

Tamara review
Fuyumi Souryo's Tamara is a pleasantly surprising light comedy with the occasional decapitation thrown in for good measure.

Coming from such an exceptional author as Souryo, one might have expected a dramatic journey of self-discovery and liberation as a dreamer works to make her desires a reality by overcoming life's turbulent waters.

No, its just about budding fashion designer Tome making cute frustrated faces at having diva model Tamara dumped on her, ruining her apartment, putting her in headlocks, and scaring the life out of her with nonchalant threats.

This isn’t a disappointment at all, no matter what your expectations are, you should hopefully still be smiling at the hijinks taking place in this manga, which manages to shoe-horn in some mystery suspense to the proceedings, coming across like a ghost detective case of the week crime-drama.

Alas this is only three chapters long, so we just get a murder at a modelling show and the obligatory haunted castle in Europe, but the plotlines are wrapped up so quickly with confessions at the climaxes that its hilarious. This is Souryo having fun, taking a break from her more usual thoughtful efforts that pull the heart-strings.

Tamara tickles your funny bone with gentle humour that thankfully avoids descending into cheap potty depths, while complimented with her trademark gorgeous artwork, especially character designs. Not her best for sure, but still undeniably hers. In short: they look great, and so is anything this lady writes and draws no matter how short in length and light in substance.

Kaikisen review
If I have to sum up Kaikisen in a few words, they would be: Mesmerizing, Serene, Euphoric, Profound, Phenomenal. A modest coastal town, the tranquil sea and an intriguing legend about a mermaid that engulfs the town. It might not be the most original setting or premise but it is done so well, the first few pages were all it took to draw me into the story.

While the manga’s charm without a doubt lies in the mystery surrounding the mermaid’s existence and her ‘egg’, the characters and their portrayal are yet another of its redeeming points. We have our protagonist Yosuke who is caught in a dilemma as whether to be rational and shrug off the legend that’s so earnestly accepted by the superstitious town folks or to believe in the whimsical and accept the fact that the mermaid does indeed exist somewhere deep down the vast sea. Then there is Yosuke’s grandfather, a headstrong believer in the sanctity of the pact that has been said to be sealed between his ancestor and the mermaid, and in stark opposition is Yosuke’s father who wants to make quick money by taking advantage of the sensational legend and by complying with the development projects launched in the town. In the midst of it all is Yosuke himself who doesn’t know what to and what not to do.

My only gripe and a small one at that is the way the story is wrapped up. The ending feels a tad abrupt and doesn’t make much of an impression. However, on the whole, Kakisen is a very good manga that is worth your time if you are looking for something intriguing to read. The story is appealing and the art is neat and detailed. Definitely one of the best short manga I have read.

China Girls review
There wasn't many reviews so I decided to change that.

what can I say about this piece? It's extremely short, but worth the read. It's different stories about womanhood and obstacles in life.

The stories have very serious topics like unwanted pregnancies, self harming, eating disorders and the like.
Some of the stories take a bit more symbolistic route, but all of them are easily understandable. I noticed that I had to take a break after each story because the subjects were so heavy that I couldn't focus on the next story without thinking the previous one through. Thought provoking would be accurate word here. I don't know if some of these stories are supposed to be educational, I was a little worried about the eating disorder story, because it takes the whole "anorexic people see themselves fatter" and turns it around... I don't know if it's a good message for a person who is or has been anorexic, but I don't think the point of the story was to do that.

The art in this is different. Each artist has their own styles but they are all extremely nice to read in my opinion. Watercolors look very nice and it just happens to be my weak spot. The first story uses beautiful scenery and symbolism to make through a story about pregnancy.
I really can't say anything more. It's an art comic.

Characters... Well, we don't really get to know them that well since the stories are short, but for what they are, the characters are nice. I think they are supposed to be slightly blank so that people can find some resemblances and can relate to them.

this is not exactly a funny comic. I enjoyed the messages and the art, but I don't think that many people can find enjoyment in these comics so that's why I only gave it 7 on enjoyment.

Overall I think this is a nice comic about womanhood. There were some possible parts where men could relate to too, and I'm pretty sure that this comic provokes it's readers to think. It's a beautifull and simple, there is no reason why you should still ponder on whether or not you should read it. It doesn't take that much time out of your day, unless you stop and awe the art in it.
