DOOR TO HEAVEN review
It's 10 pages. Go read it now and then see below, because this is a very metaphorical, allegorical story and thus it appears vague or abstract.
Kaoru Fujiwara has a way with her stories. She always prods the psychological - there's always an inherent implication - she impresses a point that she wants to make that may even breach into the taboo. This story has nothing taboo in it. It's probably not even a story as such. It's almost like a dream-scene, but it's pretty much like a premonition... It's a comment, possibly a critique of the age, of humanity, of evolution even... I am sharing my analysis below to get people intrigued by this 10-pager. It is basically what I've also posted in the forum discussion. I would love to hear from you guys what you think and your interpretations. :) #SPOILER# It has a lot of references. Did you go read? Did you notice? The notable ones are: 1) The Tower of Babel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_of_Babel): "Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them." - Genesis 11:4–9 - The new language of man is technology. The industrial age first, and now the robotics age, and man's dreams and ambitions leading him to achieve the "utopia" of artificial intelligence fused with "humanness". A utopic world never exists, because it is inherently dystopic... it is a paradox. (He also looks downwards when he mentions 'heaven'.) - Here, the robots are building the Tower of Babel. hahahaha! ingenious! The robots are the ones with the united language now. But there's the possibility that it's shifting perhaps.. and that's why maybe the play with the Leaning Tower of Pisa which was "a design that was flawed from the beginning." 2) Zephyros and Chloris from Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Birth_of_Venus_%28Botticelli%29)"She is blown towards the shore by Zephyrus - god of the winds - and the breeze Aura, while a Hora of Spring stands on dry land poised to wrap a cloak, decorated with spring flowers, around Venus to cover her nudity." - The angels at the end, were the same. I'm not sure of the exact meaning here, but in the painting, they were pushing Venus to the shore. It's about giving birth, but it could also be winds of change... ultimately, in Botticelli's painting, it appears that Venus was the purity before sin (before she became Eve - the implication with the garb that she would be clothed into shame). 3) Zeno's Paradox of Achilles and the Tortoise (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeno%27s_paradoxes): "In a race, the quickest runner can never overtake the slowest, since the pursuer must first reach the point whence the pursued started, so that the slower must always hold a lead. – as recounted by Aristotle, Physics VI:9, 239b15" - Heaven also takes a step forward, and thus, you can never really reach it, you can never catch up. And with humanity, there's no "leaving"... there's no stopping. They will keep evolving, keep moving, keep changing. The stairway to heaven is just that, it's a stairway that never ends. There are so many doors and the more we progress, the more doors open (more languages, more split, more layers). There's definitely something about the character design though. What's that headcloth ear-covering? What's the reference here? Is he a Messiah? I can only engage with the translated version. I believe what I read was a fairly good one. I don't know if there were any puns intended when Japanese was being used. I'd love to know though.

Ark Angels review
Its quite a oldish series. Its been discontinued and I never heard of it until I found it at a thrift store. The art is amazing. Its so beautiful to look at and that's half the reason I read it. The story is okay. Its about following theses girls onto a quest and it goes around their journey. Its overall pretty funny to read and short. A good warm up. It could be better but obviously it was discontinued. I don't know why but maybe somewhere has it. It would have been nice to see it be a short anime but alass it wont be.
Overall, recommend to people looking for a lighthearted manga and not looking into spending a lot of money.

CUTE X GUY review
CutexGuy, probably one of my all time favorite manga in the world. Most of the time, gender benders annoy me and just add unnecessary and irrelevant problems into a story. But in here, CutexGuy focuses mainly on the gender bender aspect in a light, and comical way. The story is a comical romance and shows the fictional world of being both a guy and girl (without explicit details). A very nice light read that humors the mind and since it is shoujo, the drawing are very "crisp" and gentle.
Story: The story is a simple but sweet plot, with a few bits of humor sprinkled througout the manga, but overall a nice shoujo with not a straight forward ending. Having not read the ending, CutexGuy is a relaxed work and definitely any reader of any age can read it (Thank goodness it's not one of those ecchi based manga). If you want an easy plot, good characters and funny/interesting situations added into the concoction, this is a manga for you. (Focused more towards girl for the bishies). Art: The Art is really well done in the book. CutexGuy does not have bold, thick line art as most shoujos do not; focuses on details on the clothing, facial features, scenery and other sorts. Character: The author of this book (whom I have forgotten), draws very good bishies, such as Jun Tadano and other guys who bring up the romance and nose-bleed appeal to the girls. And there are also very mature and beautifully drawn girls who match up to the charisma of the guys in the manga. There are really a variety of drawn characters shown, from the shy innocent guys and girls to the guys who stand out in a crowd. Enjoyment: This was a manga that I read for time to time when I had to do other work but wanted to enjoy a little break from working. It is really a small read and the chapters I believe are about 40 pages. It's very easing on the mind and a quick plot to understand. Overall: Excellent manga, simple read with very amazing drawings and images of bishies (well mainly one). A small story that probably won't stay in one's mind for a long time, but it's a cute series that should be recommended for people to buy and store in their houses. But then again, that's just me. This was my first manga review, and so I hope it has influenced you to read the story.

Kabocha to Mayonnaise review
A simple story told with subtlety. Every panel is an image unto itself, every detail holds meaning. Nananan is a meticulous artist, a perfectionist who deeply considers the placement of every line (read about her on wikipedia!). But her awareness of the power of narrative structure is also evident both in the framing of this story, and in the idle banter of the characters who are living it.
While the story is "about" Miho and Sei, and involves Miho's unburied feelings toward an ex named Hagio, what we really see are multiple iterations of a similar relationship, one where a man is able to live comfortably thanks to the tremendous, selfless sacrifices of the woman who loves him. We see Miho + Sei, Miho + Hagio, and we hear about Miho's past relationship with Hagio, as well as another of Hagio's past relationships (with, as it turns out, Rika, who is , crucially, a good friend of Miho's throughout the story and supportive of her from beginning to end). Working through the apparently minor differences in these relationships is what proves to be important in helping Miho figure out what she needs to be happy. The characters allude to this narrative technique while pointing out how we tend to oversimplify things in our own lives when they are talking about blood types (in Japan, it is thought that your blood type says something about your personality, sort of like astrology. I think many anime fans are aware of this but if this is your first exposure to this notion, now you know). Miho says to Rika something along the lines of "there are 4 blood types but billions of people in the world, are there really only 4 kinds of people?" It's when it hits her that Rika was Hagio's recent ex girlfriend that she is able to see the big differences between Hagio and Sei. She can't believe that Hagio could take advantage of such a kind person, finally recognizing the abusive pattern in his behavior because she is able to feel toward Rika the compassion she could not feel toward herself. While Sei lacks self awareness and lets Miho do too much for him, Miho actually admires Sei's idealism, which is why she is able to do so much for him in the first place. When Sei realizes how much Miho is willing to do for him, it fills him with pain and anger toward himself. It is between Miho and Sei that mutual love and admiration truly exist, whereas the relationships with Hagio are all predicated solely on desire and a toxic power dynamic. Miho is confused and struggling, but she is a strong person and determined to figure things out. If you aren't put off by this type of story and are able to accept these characters despite their faults and despite their lack of concern with expectations to live up to a typical idea of success, there is a great deal to learn and enjoy from observing these characters. Perhaps we can offer them the compassion we cannot offer ourselves.

Mujaki no Rakuen review
Somehow this is hentai without penetration and it may have some jokes repeated throughout almost every chapter. But it isn't to say that this is shit... well the anime was.
First off, this is just a comedy, eechi and romance and nothing else. If you love lolis then this is an added bonus. I like the characters and I find the story promising, I enjoyed it because I didn't have to criticize it harshly when it already has its goal in the first two chapters. So if you are looking for a manga that is just fun to read then I recommend this.

Platinum End review
Hello, my dear reader.
Let me tell you a little story. What story, you might ask? Well, it's your story, and mine, and that of many others. How do I know? Because it always follows the same pattern. It all started when you heard that Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata were working on another manga together. Great news, right? You loved Death Note and/or Bakuman, and you were instantly hyped up for more awesomeness from the power duo. You were perhaps a little surprised that a new manga coming from them didn't have any buzz, but you thought nothing of it at the time. "It's just because the series is relatively new," you thought. "It'll all change when it gets an anime. Then it will receive the attention it deserves." Excited as you were, you rushed to check out the summary, perhaps on this very site, and that's when you had your first moment of doubt. The premise sounded exactly like Mirai Nikki! That caught you off guard. You were certain that Ohba was more original than this. “Oh, well,” you thought naively. “No matter. I'm sure that his take on the whole thing will be totally different and million times better!” With your fears assuaged, you got your hands on a perfectly legal copy (cough, cough) and started to read. First you got an eyeful of the art, and it was top notch. Rich backgrounds, realistic character designs and everything you'd expect from Obata, only better than ever before. The visual aspect of the manga did more than just meet your expectations; it surpassed them by far. It's even more of a shame, then, that Platinum End was a sore disappointment in pretty much every other department. You were put out by the incredibly cliché main character, Mirai — an abused orphan boy, raised by his evil aunt and uncle. (Harry Potter anyone?) A perfect, standard anime hero who refuses to kill under any circumstances, and loves to make moralizing speeches every chance he gets, to allies and enemies alike. His motto seems to be that it's better to be harmed than to harm others, even in self-defense. (Kaneki, much?) From the author who gave us Light Yagami, you would have expected something much more memorable than a stock character like that. “Still,” you thought, “boring protagonists are pretty much standard. The rest of the cast will make up for it, I'm sure.” Long story short, they didn't. From the equally cliché antagonist with a sister complex, to a bland love interest who has nearly the same personality as Mirai, none of the main characters of Platinum End are even remotely interesting, and most of the side characters are one dimensional, over the top caricatures that make Misa Amane look subtle and down to earth by comparison. You found nobody here as intriguing, unique and unforgettable as Light Yagami, nobody as iconic as L, nobody as entertaining as Yuno Gasai. The cast is below average. So, what about the plot? In the interest of fairness, one has to admit that it's written adequately. Ohba-sensei still knows how to establish a coherent set of rules and stick to them. There are no asspulls to be found in Platinum End, but neither is subtlety of any kind. Everything here is on the nose, heavy-handed and exaggerated. Then there is the overall silliness of the manga, the best example of which are the Power Rangers style outfits that our main characters insist on wearing. “Really,” you asked with a facepalm. “Really, Ohba?” And, yes, he really did it. The master of nuanced mind games had switched to pure ham and cheese. Other than that, what else can I say about the plot? Well... Let's see how it compares to the other O & O creations. Death Note was a very unconventional work that didn't follow many standard manga cliches, subverted and deconstructed others, and ended up giving us one of the most unique stories in the medium. Bakuman was an interesting shounen manga about making shounen manga, that looked at many familiar genre tropes from a perspective of a creator. Platinum-Please- End-Already, on the other hand, just takes a bunch of overused shounen cliches (death game, becoming a god as a reward, Shinji Ikari-esque protagonist, etc.) and plays them completely straight without any imagination or creativity. Everything Platinum End does has been done hundred times before, and done better. The story it tells comes with no strong distinguishing elements, and no true identity of its own. “How is it,” you wondered, “that Death Note was more exciting when Light was EATING A BLOODY BAG OF CHIPS than Platinum End is when our characters are fighting for their sorry lives?!” And that's how you understood why almost nobody talks about Platinum End. You understood the lack of hype and enthusiasm. Perhaps you did the smart thing and just dropped it. Perhaps you refused to give up and slogged through it, hoping that a miracle will happen and the manga will eventually get good. If you did the latter, congratulations! You are one of the majority of Platinum End's “fandom”, if we can even call it that. We follow Platinum End out of loyalty for Ohba & Obata duo, nothing more. If it wasn't for those two names, we would have forgotten it ever existed a long time ago. We read the chapters when they come out, we get bored and annoyed, and we visit forums to practice the ancient and noble art of bitching. You'll find far more people who enjoy complaining about Platinum End than those who enjoy Platinum End itself. But, of course, you'll have a very hard time finding anyone who talks about it at all. Or maybe I'm wrong, and this isn't your story at all? Maybe you are just at the start of this journey, and you only dropped by to read the reviews and find out if Platinum End is worth your time? Short answer—it's not. Don't just take my word for it. Notice that all the glowing reviews were written after the author had read only a few first chapters, and all the others offer almost nothing but criticism, even if they give the relatively lenient score of six. We all want to go easy on Ohba & Obata, but this work of theirs just doesn't deserve it. It's a generic, by-the-numbers story, sub-par in many aspects, and I will only rate it as high as five because of the great art. If I were to sum up Platinum End in one word, that word would be "meh". Let's all cross our fingers and hope that their next manga will be a return to form.

Domestic na Kanojo review
This is literally a roller coaster of feelings, the story is engaging and really different from what we usually get. The character are pretty well done for the most part. The art is great and there are some really awesome poster like pics for the manga.
BUT the ending is just .....NOP , dosen't matter who you are , who you like , who you ship, is just not a well done ending. It was rushed and is just not cool to see a masterpice lose so much in 10 chapters. So yeah if you want an adventure go for it, but BEWARE for the ending my brother
