JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 7: Steel Ball Run review
Story- 10
Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 7: Steel ball is a story that from the very beginning, can be described as different from previous Jojo adventures. Hirohiko Araki decided to take the audience to an alternate reality that us Jojo fans aren't used too. In the beginning, I was a little sad because I wanted to continue with the bizarre story that had been going for so long, but I eventually found myself enticed and full of excitement for what this story had to offer. Many people believe the beginning to be quite "slow" and or passive, but from the very first chapter, I found myself to be hooked. I was fascinated by this "Steel ball Run" and how this race that many believed to be for just pure entertainment, became something that many of the characters in the story would die for. It became something more than just a race for money, fame, or power, but to someone like the protagonists Jonny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli, it became a race for hope, admiration, and revival. Character- 10 The character's in this fascinating story is what I enjoy most about it. Jonny Joestar has become one of the most well written and fan-favorite characters in manga history. It almost seems impossible to not want to see him succeed, but it's not just that when it comes to Jonny. Its as if we want to see him conquer his goals effortlessly, and expand on those dreams and ambitions. Gyro zeppelin is a character I just can't seem to get enough of, he's funny, intelligent, and most importantly, inspiring. Gyro became one of my favorites right of the bat for his desire to do anything he has to do to achieve what HE thinks is right. Part 7 has so many fantastic, unimaginably interesting characters, that I'd take hours to explain them all. What makes them all so incredible in my eyes is their desire to join this race and what they hope to get out of it. In many of the previous Jojo adventures, it would always seem as if each enemy was just another enemy that was brainwashed to listen to the main villain. They didn't seem to even have a mind of their own, they just vaguely attacked the protagonist because... well I was told too by Dio... This isn't the case in part 7. Everyone seems to have something they want out of this race, they all have their own desires and ambitions whether it be, money, this item everyone is inclined in finding, even things that don't seem to be important, but to them, they're priceless. Enjoyment- 10 As I said in the very beginning, I was hooked from chapter 1. I never felt a sense of boredom while reading. Every character seemed to be intriguing to me on what they were fighting for, and what they wanted out of this race. I was very passionate about whether this race was gonna be worth it in the end, was this race gonna fill the sense of lost Jonny was feeling before he entered? Was it ultimately going to be worth it to Gyro for and what he was asking for? I also just couldn't stop enjoying the unique friendship that was shared between Jonny and Gyro. I loved how Jonny was fascinated by Gyro from the very beginning, and wanted nothing but to learn from him, and wanted nothing but his ultimate friendship. Overall- 10 I just can't seem to even think about putting this any less than a 10. My favorite manga of all time is Berserk but wow this was really pushing it. The characters were just something that really blew me away. We had some of the most unique and fascinating backstories for characters like Weakapiko, Dio, Funny V, Jonny J, Gyro Z, Sandman, Ringo, and so so so much more. I would HIGHLY recommend any of the people considering reading this, to do so. I will gladly be collecting the manga in hard copy when it comes out in English. Thank you so much for reading my review and I truly hope you have a great day.

Monster review
It is important to know before starting Monster that this is a manga for mature readers. There are no chibi characters, no comic relief moments when things get too serious. The art is very realistic.
I read the manga after I had already watched the anime. Even though I knew most of the stories and the ending, I can say that Monster is a truly remarkable manga. It is one of the greatest psychological thrillers for more mature readers. It keeps you on your toes often. It is interesting and spooky and almost supernatural at times. The stories of many characters are developed very well (some even too well, considering some characters are not very important to the story). The only reason I am not giving it a 10, is that the ending is a bit anti-climactic, compared to the big buildup towards the end.

Tomodachi Gokko review
(Note: I have read the manga in it's entirety, but i do not remember how many chapters it had so i just put in the amount of chapters that have been translated into english so far)
I can't tell if this manga is just incredibly confusingly written or if the German translators did a piss-poor job trying to get this translated. Either way, it was pretty damn confusing. I tried to like this, I really did, a lot of the concepts are interesting and the idea of exploring fake friendships in such an environment couldve made for great drama but the way the characters talk is unnecessarily jumbled and the pacing. My god the pacing. Scenes switch with no warning, there is no buildup to support any of the dramatic scenes. There is way too much broken French vocab in an attempt to make simple concepts sound complicated. Tanpopo just pulls stuff out of her ass half the time. Mentioning Tanpopo. Goddamn Tanpopo. She couldve been such an interesting character but NO all she does is pretend to say deep things that wouldnt stand up to a bee's scrutiny-mingled sigh. The 6 stars are mainly because i do really like the concept but... sigh

Sky Girls review
Sky Girls follows the experiences of three young girls in a futuristic military as they combat monsters with their exoskeletons known as Sonic Divers. It's a very good take on the traditional mecha fighting anime by avoiding the giant robots and adding young female leads for fanservice appeal. Tis one volume manga is essentially the same as the Sky Girls OVA. It does a good job of summarizing what's going on within the universe, but does little to establish character backgrounds or building any type of actual story. As an accompanying title to those that enjoyed the TV series, it does well.
The artwork in the manga is good as best. Backgrounds are very prominent and the use of tone is fair. The only complaints with the artwork is that it seems inconsistent at times. The biggest errors are with proportions as sometimes a characters head will be a bit too large for their figure. Still, it is not so horrible as to ruin the series, but it is noticeable. The characters are as lively as they were in the OVA and TV series. You get a decent feel of all of their emotions and where their interests lie. Since the manga doesn't follow an actual complete series you don't really get to bond with them, but they are still approachable and cute in their own sense. Those that haven't watched the series may have trouble with connecting with the characters. From beginning to end, the manga serves as a little more than a warm-up to the TV series. Just like the OVA that was adapted from the manga, it serves well to satisfy fans paletes and give potential fans a taste of what they might enjoy. Those looking for an in-depth story, development, and closure will be disappointed. In the end, the manga is highly recommended for fans of the series and for those who want to sample the series before jumping right in.

Rugged Nymphomania review
In this world, whales and humans have switched roles. Whales are much smaller and intelligent while humans are depicted as much larger than normal and not so smart. Whales hunt the humans and also observe them for entertainment. The concept is something that I would never have even considered, however it shows an interesting point of view. This idea just goes to show how powerful imagination really can be. I would recommend this to others, not because it is entertaining, but because it is interesting.

CROSS DAYS review
Warning: You really need to watch School Days before reading this, and so slight spoilers from the show will be alluded to. School Days is the most spoiled anime ever though, so you probably already know all of this.
School Days. The infamous harem deconstruction that everyone either loves or hate, me being part of the love side of things. School Days, as most know, is based off of a visual novel. That visual novel also has two spinoffs without anime adaptions but manga ones, Summer Days and the one right here, Cross Days. Cross Days is a side story to School Days. It takes place at the same time as the original story, albeit with a few changes. It tells the story of a boy named Yuuki who has a crush on a girl called Kotonoha. Kotonoha happens to be dating Makoto. Another girl named Kitsuregawa likes Yuuki. Out of jealously, she claims to Yuuki that she is dating Makoto. Yuuki investigates and learns Makoto is dating another girl, Sekai. Yuuki is your typical motivated harem protagonist, and so he decides to show the truth about Makoto to these girls by some sort of convoluted plan involving cross-dressing. As you can tell, these teenagers days at school is anything but simple. I'll like to get right into the characters. Now, Makoto is not the main character but Yuuki is, and he's generally a likable guy. He's typically very smart and tries his best through this crazy plan to prove to the girls the evils of our Makoto. He wants to help everyone and be a hero basically. Then we have Kitsuregawa, who is a tsundere. Not really much more I can say about her. She's not very memorable as a character. Then there's of course the sweet little Kotonoha who is the same from her role in School Days. Then there's Makoto. Now, I am one of the 9 people who really liked Makoto in the original. I think he's one of the more fleshed out harem protagonists, and before he went and had sex with everyone, I enjoyed his likable idiot personality. However, my little hormone-driven Makoto does not exist in this manga. Instead, we have an evil Makoto, who is obsessed with sex to the point he doesn't care at all about the other girls feelings. And it's not like the second-to-last episode of School Days where Makoto was just emotionless, no. He's plain evil, right down to his laugh. While I do love my original Makoto and all, something about Evil Makoto was just really amusing so I still like him. Most of the other characters from the anime don't really get fleshed out at all. Not even Sekai, who actually plays a rather big role in this manga. Now, the story. Once you get passed the fact Yuuki could've just cut this plot in half by just telling the girls straight out Makoto was cheating on them instead of Operation Cross Days, how was it? For the most part, it's light-hearted romantic affair, and that's fine. The characters are all decent enough to be seen doing this. And there's no fluff in it either. Most of the scenes are straight and to the point, and add to the story overall. Yuuki's attempts to bring Makoto's evils out in public are fun to watch and he does make the right choices most of the time. While the manga is nowhere near as dark as School Days, it is definitely a drama instead of a comedy. On the ending (as School Days is definitely known for it) no one dies at all, though it is still a little twisted at the end of the day. The art of the manga is very good. Character designs are detailed and look very cute. You can easily tell apart characters from the original series and no one really looks alike. I really enjoyed Cross Days personally. Seeing the familiar story through the few of another character was refreshing. It's very entertaining to read and see the characters we all know and either hate or love, depending on the person, through another light. In a way, I feel like Cross Days purpose was this- What would the events of School Days look like through the eyes of a normal person who just happened to get wrapped up in it some way? Is it possible to fix the wrongs of Makoto? The view this manga gave was very interesting. Overall, I say Cross Days is a must for any School Days fan. If you're a hater of the show (which several people are), then there's nothing new here to really attract you, but if you enjoyed the show at least somewhat, I recommend this manga.

Jinmen review
It could be so much more.
Jinmen is a freakshow manga that blesses us with truly beautiful accidents of forced evolution, showing in godawfully beautiful detail just what happens when you decide to give animal something akin to a human brain. Sadly, the designs and art of animals specifically is literally all there is to the few chapters there are out at the moment. Aside from the nightmare of an animal kingdom the mangaka tried to create, there really isn't much else to grasp one's attention. Its formula is classic; bad things happen, MCs stuck in the worst possible position, survival shenanigans ensue. That itself wouldn't be such a bad thing if it were taken in any direction that's even mildly interesting but I'm sad to report that aside from the animals themselves and the cute looks of the main girl, there has been so little character and plot developments, that it makes the manga seem like nothing but an excuse to draw the exceptionally well made freaks of nature; which again falls flat because everything else, while nicely drawn, is pretty bland in comparison, making it look like a weird clash of two entirely different styles. The characters are flat, the so-called story patching itself where it can, and the style clash makes my head ache. Do read it for the interesting drawn animals, and metaphorical train wrecks of evolution but it's all you're ever going to get out of it.

Ever Green review
Story: Overall pretty great as expected from Takemiya Yuyuko-sensei, Expect for the plost twist that was pretty obvious to happen (which i didn't like) so i wasn't really surprised about it. Art/Character Design: pretty good, especially Awaya Niki's character design. Enjoyment: On the enjoyment part... if you happen to not like "incest" then i wouldn't recommend this. Since there's a part in the story where two of the characters (not gonna say who for the sake of not spoilinh too much.) Find out that they're actually related by blood when they finally when on their first date. Overall: I highly recommend it if you love "Toradora!"/Love Takemiya-sensei's works.

Biohazard: Heavenly Island review
Story - 7
Resident Evil strikes back and gaddamn, did it strike back with a bang. I'll say one thing and one thing only, PUSS.....*clears throat* Eh, where were we? The story? Right right right, you got a swim suit model's competition on a mysterious island where a zombie virus breaks out. You get the gist of what happens next. They survive through it while trying to uncover the island's secrets. Art - 9 The art is the best selling point of this manga. Very detailed. All I saw at the beginning were EYE CANDIES!!!!! Oh mamma mia. I'm sure you'll see them too once you start reading. I mean, this is Naoki Serizawa we're talking about here!! Character - 6 Eh.....Claire Redfield was in it (Chris made somewhat of a 'cameo' appearance if I can use it in this instance), and very few other classic RE characters appeared in it. Everyone else is pretty new. You got eye candies (so lovely looking) dying left and right, FUCK!! At the end, only one survives though (as a human, that is). I'd give Tominaga my MC label. There's nothing special about him at first but he eventually mans up. Enjoyment - 7 This is a zombie outbreak manga, survival is my forte, of course I'll enjoy this. The action was there. You got different types of the infected. It was gory to an extent. Good good in my book. Overall - 7 This is a quick read to enjoy for what it is. Resident Evil in manga form. Zombies and different B.O.W's take the cake. The art brought it all out. As a fan of RE movies and the games (somewhat), this is good. You don't even have to be a fan, as for the most part, you can jump head first into this and read. Just a few references here and there. Infact, amma pull an Eminem move right now (8 Mile movie anyone?). Fuck all y'all, fuck everybody, fuck this review. WHERE MY EYE CANDIES AT!!!!! Uh..... Amma have to end the review here, I gotta jump back to the beginning of the manga real quick. Cheers!! *DROPS MIC*
