One Piece review
First of all sorry for bad english this is not my home language

I know One Piece for like 10 years, thinking it was something like Naruto or Bleach level of comics (comics that are kind of meh to me). I just finish the pre timeskip without almost any spoiler (just knowing all the strawhat crew and that luffy father is alive), reading the manga and seeing the epic scenes in youtube and i can almost be certain that this is one of my favourite fictions of all time...
One Piece is emotional rollercoaster definition in dictionary. in almost 600 chapters i laughed a lot, be amazed at some panels, cried of sadness, cried of joy and not gonna lie being bored at sometimes, but all in all without a doubt loving this manga a lot.

Story 8.5/10

Almost 600 chapters without knowing almost nothing about the main plot can be a symptom of the series being dragged on, but One Piece is not the case because is not about finding the One Piece, is about the adventure... One Piece story is a summary of sagas, from east blue to summit war (at least the one i just finish) that gives hints about the main plot.
In each arc there is a main plot, now the problem with this is there are arcs that for me are better than other ones, but at least all (maybe except thriller bark) are good at their own thing. The problem with the story is that is very visible that this is a shonen manga more in the side of kids with childish humour and some battles, instead for example Hunter x Hunter that is more in the side of adults, so for people that are searching for complex and detailed series this is not your cup of tea.
I give it an 8.5 because while one piece give me some of my favourites sagas of all time like Summit War or Water 7, it also gave me sagas that i didn't like very much like Thriller Bark.

Art 8.5/10

I don't read manga a lot, but i had read JoJo part 7 that is my 10 in art, so judging by that base and the base that this is a weekly manga that is going on for 20 years and counting the art is really good, the draws are very good and the epic or emotional panels really gives emotions, the only problem i see in the art is that some battles are kind of confusing in black and white (i had to see them in colour to understand them)

Characters 10/10

One piece has the best cast of characters i ever saw, almost all of them are extremely charismatic in their own way, from Shanks and his crew to the fighters of Marineford all of them has their charm... is a fact that in this manga there isn't almost character growth because like i said earlier this series lacks complexity, but really anyone cares about character development when you have a cast like this one? Franky is my favourite strawhat and Ace or Shirohige or Kizaru or Hancock or Kurohige or Bon Clay or Doflamingo or... i can't decide one at the moment... is that good.

Enjoyment 11/10

The most emotional anime/manga series i witnessed. I laughed a lot by their humour (but sometimes don't like gags that are really too childish, but that's a problem of my age not a problem of the series), cried of sadness, cried of joy, cried AT AN OPENING, being amazed at plot twist, being amazed at epic scenes or fights, being amazed at nothing because nothing happened at that time. sometimes i didn't like some things like the giants arc or the beginning of skypea but is like 1/25 of the chapters i read that i didn't like... One piece is pure enjoyment if this is you cup of tea.

Overall 9/10

Is mindblowing that people compare this with Naruto or Bleach... i understand that this is not a series for anyone (like every other series) but this is to put the very least a very great manga until this point and a serious contender to Hunter x Hunter for being the best shonen. Hunter x Hunter is the goat serious shonen... this is the goat heartful shonen.

One Piece goes with JoJo Part 7 and Hunter x Hunter as my favourites anime/manga

EDIT: in the day with the manga, 900 chapters with lots of emotion, hype, unsolved history, worldbuilding, interesting and charimastic characters, humour, sad and joyful moments, epic battles, epic speeches... yup as a whole this is the best shonen history bar none, the funny thing is that according to oda the last past of the series are going to be the best one and make marineford look like a filler. I really dont know how he are going to do this but if i learned something with 4 months reading one piece is believe in oda, one piece exist... and is a god tier manga

When you start reading action genre manhwas, you start to notice that most of the manhwas have some very common elements.

1. Overpowered main character (mc)
2. Badass mc
3. Rpg kinda platforms which is the very base of the plot
4. Predictable fights

Even though many of them try to create a different approach, the very concept, characters and the progression of the manhwa fails to hide these elements and thus they become "generic from unique" at some point of the story.

Solo levellings concept did create a successful unique approach with a good potential to present a great manhwa.

The main character who is weak but full of determination to fight and struggle, well written characters, antagonists, support characters etc etc is what readers want to see mostly in stories that fall in "weak but i want to get stronger" criteria.

The manhwas first impression to be honest is quite good. With pretty good visuals, artstyles it easily attracts the readers. Even though these kind of artstyles have become quite common in modern manhwa industry.

Solo levelling did have the potential to turn into a great story. It had all those elememts to create hype, add an unique perspective for this kind of rpg based plots, quite enjoyable. BUT.

Things go downfall after 30 or so chapters. All these hypes and stuff u feel quietly vanishes away as u read further.

The story goes from "unique" to "generic". From a determined mc we see a him turn into an Over powered, badass character fighting and winning every time, no threats, struggles, potential antagonists, development scope. Basically it turned out to be a recycled rpg.

Theres nothing unique or even good left now at this point of the story rather than the artstyles which obviously made the manhwa get more attention the it deserves.
And if we just care about the visuals and throw away the plot, progression, the characters development then we can easily rate it 9. But in the end of the day the story has turned " GENERIC"

Still theres some hope left as the manhwa is still ongoing and there are some clues in recent chapters that the story might get better than its current state. I do hope it gets better but till now. This manhwa is just a recycle rpg plot with a badass op mc. Pretty generic if you ask me.

One Piece review
One Piece is the most overrated piece of fiction I’ve ever read. It’s mostly about a roaming crew of do-gooder clichés that travel the high seas. Each character has a dream (which they will never achieve because this cash cow will never end) and of course a tragic backstory to go with it. One Piece is somehow popular while having the worst character designs in anime, includes countless scenes of characters sobbing like crybabies, and will drag on to the point no one will care anymore. Honestly, if you want a shonen that doesn’t insult your intelligence and make you feel like you’re reading something written by a smarter than average 10 year old, then don’t pick this up.

Story: While there are some decent dramatic moments here and there, they’re almost always forced as much as possible and accompanied by over the top water faucet tears or something else as corny that makes you want to punch a hole in the wall. Not only that, but it’s the same thing each time.

Straw Hat crew arrives at an island, the people are friendly but something is wrong. We then meet the villain who is doing stereotypical villain things. Luffy hotheadedly decides he is gonna save the day and starts yelling. Luffy takes on the boss and his crew mates take on the underlings. They are stronger than expected, but through the power of friendship and encouragement from the people of the island they will themselves to victory with their new attacks they just invented. With everything said and done, celebration is had, and the Straw Hats leave as the citizens thank them and promise to always remember their kindness. Repeat for hundreds of chapters. If that sounds boring to you, then good, it’s very lame.

Let me add that people harp on about how great the world building is, but the world is just a nonsensical LSD theme park with clouds you can stand on and other magical stuff that never gets a good explanation and you’re just expected to eat it up and suspend your disbelief.

Art: Not much needs to be said here, One Piece’s art hardly looks like anime at all, but rather doodles from a 3rd grader’s math textbook.

Character: Characters are terribly developed and never really change. Usopp remains a cowardly person forever, Sanji remains a scrawny Johnny Bravo knock off that is impossible to take seriously, Luffy remains an unlikable annoying man child "who always stands up to the bad guy with no fear" (that's all his character amounts to though, lol and there is no originality), Zoro is your cookie cutter “badass” character, etc the characters are bad, have no actual depth, and are uninteresting.

Enjoyment: Clearly some people enjoy this, but I certainly didn’t. I read it in bursts, people kept trying to drill into my head how great it was so I kept going back, forced myself to read another 200 or so chapters, then got sick and put it back down. Now I write this review to tell you how lousy I think this comic is.

Overall: One Piece is poor. Yes, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan, Death Note, and many others are great shonen stories that I encourage people to read and enjoy.

Darenidemo Dekiru Kage kara Tasukeru Maou Toubatsu review
I don't do reviews often, but I felt this was being misrepresented. This will be short.

Story - Well written. Interesting developments. Uses tropes as red herrings. The balance of power stays consistent. Clever twists. Memorable characters. The plot progression is steady. Has a game-like feel to it's world-building.

Art - The art looks like a cross between your conventional Ln art styles and water paint. It's unique. I like it.

Character -
-The Mc is a priest with an exasperated yet driven loyalty to his task, his methods are often unorthodox for a priest.
I think this subtle action neatly summarizes his character, using healing magic to cure his headaches from overworking himself.
-The priest is tasked to guide a hero who is summoned from Japan. So slightly an isekai story. Without spoilers I'll say, finish the first volume before you decide how you feel about the hero.

Entertainment - My most anticipated series.

Overall - I tend to rate high, basically 8-10. My scores are more enjoyment based, not comparative based. Which is why I don't write reviews normally. It just didn't sit right with me that 1 of the 2 reviews so far -so very clearly- didn't finish what they were reviewing.

This gets a 10 for me. Probably a 7.8-8.3, once it's scored on MAL.

Ai no Koe review
First Story - Teacher/Student cliche
Second story - The girl that thought that giving her body to the guy was the only way that she could love him
Third story - (the cutest and the only one that deserves your time) the girl that live an abusive relashionship and is saved by the charming prince in the white horse that she has known forever
Fourth story - age gap couple (like a REAL. GAP.)
Fith story - a gir that was taught that being friends with other guys makes them become your friend (???)

If you are looking for a manga to read in 30 min with nothing special, that's the manga for you. The caracters are boring and common. There's no one you say "omg I loved this character and I wanted to see more stories with him/her". The art is pretty cute, but don't give singularity to the characters.
The plot follows a pattern in all the stories. The girl is always in a more fragile situation and the guy has to "save" her. All the sex scenes are EXACTLY the same. So no, if you are looking for a josei to step up your sexual fetiches or to enjoy a story with good erotic scenes, that's not your manga.
The only good point I see in this story is that in some of the stories, it tries to aware the reader about ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS and TOXIC BEHAVIOURS.
I really hope that the girls from the second and last story are just to exaggerated to be real. Because, man, if these girls exists... I really don't know what to say (our world would have really become a real hell)
But the most important thing I have to point out about this manga is about the SECOND STORY. Girls, please. If you EVER meet a guy like the one from this story, RUN LIKE HELL. Nothing will make me swallow this couple and say it's okay omg so cute. NO. It was OBVIOUSLY, CLEAR LIKE WATER AN SUPER ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP AND YOU GIRLS PLEASE DON'T EVER LET A GUY DO THIS TO YOU OR FORGIVE A GUY FOR DOING IT WITH YOU OR OTHER GIRL.
And someone please send the author of this story to the therapist.

Netsu-Ai Shisen: Hitomi de Okashite review
[There's a TL;DR at the end if you need it.]

I had the displeasure of coming across these oneshots today, before realizing that I had apparently already read and given this collection a rating of 3 many years ago. After re-reading a couple of them, I feel like I was actually being too generous.

My rating has now dropped down to a 1, and it has the dubious honor of being the first manga in my list with this score. I figured I may as well throw in a review while I'm at it.

Chances are, this will be one of those reviews where I'm going to try (but probably fail) to be objective about my dislike.

Netsu-Ai Shisen (also the title for one of the stories) is a collection of short SMUT oneshots. These particular oneshots share a common theme of guys attempting to conquer the heroine through sex. And I don't really mean this in a "let's have hot sex and fall in love while we're at it" way... I mean it in the "I'm going to force you to have sex, and by terrorizing you and making you cry tears of extreme fear, you will somehow discover you love me and my rapist's ways."

Yep, we're talking blatant and indisputable rape here - not the dominant sex that skirts the border of noncon so common in smut, and not even the hentai kind that tries to disguise the forced aspect by making the girl enjoy the sex so much that people argue it's not rape if she enjoys it.

But this isn't hentai anyway. This is supposed to be smutty romance. I don't know about you, but crying and shaking uncontrollably from fear isn't a very stellar example of enjoyment nor is it a sign of budding love.

What makes it doubly distasteful is the fact that even if you strip away the rape, it'd still make for a sorry collection of oneshots and a very bad excuse for a romance.

The characters are painful to read. The heroines all have the same exact vapid and meek personality, while the guys are creeps, jerks, and of course, rapists. Granted, I don't know if the girls were always meek and vapid or if it's due to the fact that the guys have scared them so much they can hardly be themselves anymore. Either way, there's no development to show otherwise, and what we get is meek and vapid.

Story-wise, shallow isn't a strong enough word to describe it. They attempt to show that these heroines end up falling in love with these guys through the process of being raped a few times. That's all. We're talking purely the supposedly amazing power of rape here. The only difference between the stories is the basic premise/setting (and perhaps how rape-like the rapes are). Getting to know one another? What's that?

The guys, funnily enough, do the raping because they love the girls and want them in any way possible. (I guess I should add obsessive and controlling to the characterization for the heroes.) Not my idea of a good romance OR a good smut.

Needless to say, I would give a 0 for the enjoyment, the characters, and the story if I could.

The only not-terrible thing about this collection is the art. It's decent, though it has a bit of that dated shoujo smut look about it. It's occasionally pretty in a way that I imagine some people would quite like. It's just not the kind of style I particularly like, so it's somewhat average and forgettable in my book. Also, her characters have the tendency to look pretty much identical regardless which story you're reading.

The smut is a tad boring (rape-ishness aside), so if you're hoping to read this for smutty goodness, you may as well move on. That is, unless non-consensual sex between a dominating male and a helpless female is your cup of tea.

It isn't mine, obviously.

Coupled with all the other flaws, Netsu-Ai Shisen gets a 1 (a rating of "Appalling") from me.

* TL;DR: Cookie-cutter characters of the vapid/useless variety for girls and the creepy controlling type for guys. Average art that has the potential to be pretty for some. Zero plot, the smut is blah, and the moral of the story appears to be this: "Raping is a pretty successful way of getting a girl to fall in love with a guy."

** NOTE: My reread, new rating, and this review is largely based on Sensei wa Boku no Mono, Netsu-Ai Shisen, and some parts of Amai Fukushuu. It is always possible that the other two remaining stories in the collection do not actually contain any non-consensual sex. I no longer remember nor do I want to. Refreshing my memory for 3 out of 5 stories for this particular collection is already more than too much.
