The story from beginning to end does a good job of balancing the sweetness and joy of life with the bittersweet and fading pain of death. From simple grocery errands to big holiday events, you are given a glimpse into the life of this small family. While the art at a glance may seem goofy, it has it's own unique charm to it.

Due to this, the characters feel more unique with more depth. Each character, whether they are the main character or not, feels well fleshed out. Throughout the story, you learn more about them and their past.

My reasoning behind the high enjoyment rating is reading through this story gave a wide range of emotions yet the strongest one was a sense of fulfillment. The manga manages to end the story off neatly. Leaving a feeling of fullness within the heart.

Overall I would highly recommend this manga, especially if you enjoy laidback ones with occasional serious moments.
