Pumpkin Night review

This manga is nothing more than the movie "Carrie" if she wasn't psychic, had 100 Stealth, and could dismember people with the flick of a wrist.
You think there's more than that? There's not, I've given you the entire premise.
The characters are forgettable, none of them have a very distinct personality and only serve to push the meager plot forward.
Gotta give credit where it's due, the art is absurdly well-done for such a poorly written manga.

Edit: Upon reading chapter 16 I take it all back, the sheer brilliance of having Naruto's father as Trump not only makes this the greatest political critique since Watchmen but it adds the subtle yet supple taste of incompetence. I have never seen a manga so bravely subvert the traditions of 1. Not using the name Naruto any more for obvious reasons. 2. Not bringing real political figures into a fictional work.
