Juri Mutou

Juri is the daughter of a very famous pianist who had to stop playing, following complications during Juri's birth. Juri believes she has no hope in the future due to a dark past - until she meets Yuu, whom she finds it's easier to talk to than other people. Her name "Sylvia" is her given Christian name.

Her trauma:

When she was 16 years old, Juri was raped by her piano teacher and her mother refused to believe or help her. This, compounded with being told that her existence wasn't wanted, her mother's own frustration at being unable to continue her piano career, and her mother being implied to still be seeing the tutor, leads to Juri spiraling deep into depression, attempting suicide three times and refusing to form bonds with other people.
