What is a man to do when he accomplishes the one goal that his life is dedicated to? How does a man who knows of nothing aside from duty continue after his purpose is accomplished? Densetsu no Yuusha no Konkatsu illustrates this situation using comedy as well as a look at the main character's thoughts as the events of the story unfold. The best part of this series is that his struggles are something we can all relate to and it allows us to connect with the main character and to feel empathy for him despite the fantasy setting.

Even if you aren't interested in the emotional investment, the story is one of a kind and it does throw some nice curveballs especially at the end. Densetsu no Yuusha no Konkatsu also isn't the typical hero's journey that is so commonly used. This story takes place after his main quest and after he's done his hero duties.
