Koe no Katachi review

While the characters at time could be a bit static, this story was an incredibly heart-warming look into the problem of bullying, redemption, and bettering yourself. It's a must read for anyone who wants a good cry/ wants to fall in love with a new manga. I wish the ending was a bit more developed, and I wished the characters changed more and (especially the mc) were less dramatic and brooding. However, both of these are incredibly minor concerns, and SHOULD NOT stop you from reading it!!!!
The art was beautiful, the story line was enthralling, the characters were lovable, and it was a nice quick read. Most of all, it was very relatable. Everyone, at some point in their life, is forced to change their ways and regrets some action they have committed. The characters in this manga are faced with this same reality, and learn the meaning of friendship, how to be a good person, and the difference between wanting to be a friend because you want it and to be a friend because it is good for the other person.
