This will be my first time writing a review but I think this manga deserves it.

The story is different from most magical school stories out there. We are not dealing with a magical prodigy, our protagonist isn't magician of any sort, he is just a normal person who must try to keep his lack of powers hidden from his fellow classmates that expect a lot from him due to a misunderstanding. This sets up numerous events and trials that our MC has to go through.

Any story would be boring if there was no goal at the end. Luckily this story has one, the main drive of our protagonist is to obtain magic but not for something grandeur like saving the world but instead to help a friend. To obtain magic our MC must prove himself to the school. This ensures that our MC doesn't simply hide in the shadows during incidents but instead appear at the center of attention.
