Oh man this is suuuuuch a good manga all the way through EXCEPT for the ending! And it's not the mangaka's fault; WSJ cancelled it because it had low readership which honestly just baffles me.

It's about a kid who gets into a magic school by some crazy misunderstanding and then has to fend for himself at said magic school WITHOUT actually having magic (but everyone else thinks he's a gold magic user). I was hooked from the beginning; the art is really excellent (10+++++), the characters are lovable and well-developed, the story is fun and hilarious and interesting!!! IDG WHY IT WAS CANCELLED!!!

Taiga Kuzumi is honestly one of the most lovable characters I've ever come across in manga; like other shounen heros, he has that never-give-up attitude, but he's also hilarious, prone to mistakes, has crushes, and does a lot of funny cute things lol. Loved how he was drawn too. Lots of the scenarios were just so funny, especially how he uses his smarts to get out of situations where he can't do any magic lol.

Fun and fast paced until the last two chapters where the whole story just ends really unsatisfactorily and abruptly. I was bummed :(. I want to see Kuzumi in something else; he is a great character.
