I love this Manga.

The concept is overall very awesome and interesting. The series is an amazing psychological manga.Kaneki was just a normal human living his own life until a tragedy happened. This allows you to connect with Kaneki on a humane level.
I have seen many people complain about how kaneki is a cry baby in the anime and the Manga but if you put yourself in Kaneki's position I'm sure you wouldn't have been in that good of a mental state with all the shit that happened to Kaneki.Kaneki is by far the best character in this series for me because he is just thrown into a spiral of bullshit that keeps on breaking him apart and the transformation of his character throughout the series is very well handled.Throughout the whole series I genuinely feel bad for him.

This series also shows a lot of symbolism which I am quite fond of from a story telling perspective. The Manga usually leaves you conflicted as you feel like you need to support one side of the spectrum but both sides have a good arguement. You feel bad for some ghouls but not for others and since you are a human the CCG should have pretty compelling arguement as without them most the entire human population would have wiped out by now.

The characters in this Manga are very well fleshed out to make you feel like you need to supprt them..But some other characters are just douchebags or psychopaths.By the end of the Manga most of the loose ends are left untied and a lot and I mean A LOT of character developement has happened and some well handled very unexpected deaths as well. The series leaves you confused with and amazing final arc and tons of un-answered questions...

Oh?You're complaining about the ending?Craving sequel...Well...It's there..Just go read it and stop complaining!

Jokes aside! All in all this a very well written and thought out seinen, psychological series that will make you geniunely feel bad about the character and care about them as they develop. The series will grab you with its very intriguing concept and psychological element that makes you reconsider whats right and whats wrong few times. But every series can't be perfect. As this series has its fare share of plot holes, bad moments and sometimes some of the story elements really don't make that much sense But if you get past those it's a really great read!
