I picked up tokyo ghoul as I thought it looked interesting and I was correct, I love blood, gore and horror so this book is perfect. The art is detailed and nice and it does have enjoyable moments. I like the amount of fights that go on and the realism in contrast to the real world.

It shows how similar the worlds can be such as how you can lose your parents, how ghouls and humans have the same feelings. This manga is definitely in my favourites.

There is a lot going on and it leaves you wanting to read more

Although it's a good read there aren't as many cliffhangers as one piece, it's mainly just adventures and fighting with the ghouls, but it is a good read. It's fun to see the daily events of kaneki ken.
