Yuri-Natsu: Minshuku Kagaya review

This is, in my opinion, a completely average yuri manga in almost all respects. It contains vaguely creepy elements at times (but nothing truly horrible), the romance is bland but mostly wholesome, and it has a whole bunch of different couples for maximum broad appeal. The only truly negative thing about it, in my opinion, is an utterly hideous art style. It looks like I drew it. And by that I mean everything looks like a pile of deformed potatoes. And it's not like webcomics like the original One Punch Man, where the bad art felt like it had genuine passion behind it, it's just... bad, with little to redeem it. The chapters are maybe five pages long, and start/end abruptly, which makes reading it a bit of a chore.

If you like yuri in any way, you will probably like this well enough. But I don't see too much here I'd say I love, or would remember when compared to other works. If you want fluff between people who have girl parts, this has that. If you want extremely mild melodrama between people who have girl parts, this sometimes has it. If you want any kind of spice, any notable characterization, anything approaching gripping storytelling... this is not your manga. If you want to turn your brain off and read about gay girls, then you may enjoy it, if you can get past the art style.
