Sonna Koe Dashicha Iya review

This is my first review, and the fact that, after all this time, I decided to start with this manga is telling. And no, it's not a compliment, quite the opposite, in fact.

I won's say much about the plot ( not very interesting) and the art (quite nice), I will instead focus on the characters. All you need to know is that this manga is about a girl who wants to be a voice actress, and her love triangle with her respected, talented coleague and her idol boyfriend.

Now, I have to say I was expecting it to be at least enjoyable, since the whole voice acting setting is not something I've seen before, and I never say no to love triangles, but boy was I wrong.
You'd expect the main character to somehow carry the story, but this is not the case. Hina, the main girl, is an almost offensively weak character, she has absolutely no personality and keeps being dragged from one awkward situation to another without being able to make a single decision. Her two love interests are the classic forceful, aggressive guys, whom you'd report to the police in real life. Since it's a manga, their attempted rapes are quickly forgotten by our heroine. At the same time, though, being aggressive appears to be the only thing they can do, since she won't seem to make any decision unless forced. She is like water, a nonentity, she goes with the flow, hurting herself and her two loves in the process.

That being said, I guess I don't have to tell you that I don't recommend this. If you enjoy smut for the sake of it, then by all means, read it. If you expect to relate to the characters and fall in love with them, this will disappoint you.
