Apartmate review

The basic central theme is sex on apartments, even tho one time it happens outside the apartments. Actually, there are three almost completely disjoint story lines in this, with chapters in mixed order:

* 100 x 200, divided in 13 Battles;
* A Room With A Nice View, divided in two parts;
* Apart-mate, with 11 Conversations;
* One 100 x 200 + Apart-mate crossover episode with an Afterword (chapter 15)
* A final chapter that I haven't read yet.

All the stories have nudity, but only Nice View is hot and heavy.

The chapters are very short. The stories other than Apart-mate have self-contained chapters, you can just read one chapter and be happy with a full story. Its all unpretentious slice of life.

100 x 200 is a very cute romcom about two co-workers into a casual sexual relationship. They are always trying to shrug the homebody attitude and develop more romantic activities but the world conspires against them. It has nudity but nothing really explicit. 10/10 would read much more stories in this style.

A Room With A Nice View is a very short Ecchi story about a shy girl and a exploring guy horsing around in his apartment. Too short to develop anything, but interesting nonetheless 8/10 would read if it became a series like 100 x 200.

Apart-mate is a series about a struggling writer guy submitting to financial and sexual domination by the previous tenant of the apartment he just rented. He actually likes her but she wants nothing beyond the domination. Its the less graphic of the three stories, it has some nudity but no contact is explicitly shown. It has a developed background plot, some character development and was vaguely inspired by a real story.

As far as I could explore using Google, the Afterword on chapter 15 was never fully translated into English. I'd like very much to have a full translation.

Art was very good and adequate to the storytelling style. 10/10

Characters: 100 x 200 has some basic character development, Nice View is too short to have anything but Ecchi, Apart-mate has two strong realistic characters with non-traditional stories. Some people will cringe about where the development leads the characters in Apart-mate, but there is some definite - and realistic - development. 10/10

You will enjoy it if you think of it as unpretentious sex stories. 10/10

Overal rating 10/10
