This one-shot is bonkers.
The premise is quite interesting and unique since the meteor that destroyed the dinosaurs was the catalyst for a T-Rex to be transported inside a teenaged girl's body. It provides some expected and cute scenes early on as he is trying to understand his new situation and body. Everything after that, however, was like a toilet flush of information.
The series quickly devolves from a comedy gender bender into something really odd about dino invasions of the mind and the USA military invading Japan to get to Ralph (the T-Rex) in revenge for his carnivorous deeds. Then you have the odd subplot of a Yakuza boss trying to kidnap Ralph to make his bride. It's truly bizarre and the panel layout does not help address the frankensteined story.
It's honestly impressive how flabbergasted I was by the end of it.
Cool idea, poor execution.
