One of the hardest manga I’ve ever tried to read. It’s just so pretentious and nonsensical with its storytelling. Just one thing I’d like to address, and it concerns Air Gear's use of metaphors.

"Flying"

This manga throws out that buzzword as if it actually means something. At first, I thought it was just some metaphor to liken a character to an animal, but later on the characters began to use it as actual explanation for the nonsense that takes place.

Are they flying? Fuck no! They’re rollerblading for god sake!

Also, Ikki shitting out an EF4 tornado from his fucking shoes completely contradicts the law of conservation of mass. Where did that energy come from? The tiny motor inside his shoe? The manga's selective with what real world physics it wants to represent in its narrative—hence, I can’t engage.
