I feel that Bakuman has an extremely unique story because the plot about the life of mangakas really show me personally how hard it is for a mangaka to be famous and published in magazines before they actually get serialized. I begin to appreciate mangakas EVEN more than I used to. The manga is worth reading because it shows the determination and passion that people have in pursuing what they like, not what others tell them.
