Liar Game is a one of a kind psychological thriller manga. The manga opens with an honest girl , Kanzaki Nao who has received a parcel from the LGT Office. She reluctantly opened it(The parcel contained a hefty sum of 100 Million Yen) and got involved in the Liar Game Tournament. Well, that's the theme. The Liar Game tournament is a tournament of wits and strategy. Each player/group tries to outwit each other. The plot progresses in a fashionable manner and the mind games are well thought out and well executed. The games are excellent. They make you think out your own strategies.
-Art:
The art is between average and good. But the story is so intriguing that it hardly matters. The art improves gradually with chapters.
-Characters:
Liar Game excels in this field. Akiyama(The male lead) is cunning and extremely intelligent. Reminds me of Light Yagami and L Lawliet from Death Note. Yokoya and Fukunaga provide a great show too. While every game goes on, you'll ask yourself "Who will win this game?". I guarantee Akiyama's plans alone will blow your mind beyond the boundary.
-Enjoyment:
Mindf**k planning. Pure entertainment and badassery. If you like mind games and psychological mangas, then Liar Game will be epic.
-Overall
Liar Game is flawless and mesmerizing. Well thought out and well executed. The manga is a masterpiece. A must read for all manga-otakus.
