Liar Game review

I have watched part of the jdrama and thought it was pretty good (I don't remember ever finishing it though because ... as much as I like Erika Toda, I hated her character in it. Kanzaki Nao was so infuriating in the drama BUT! She's actually pretty tolerable in the manga, even pretty awesome in the later chapters.

The manga gets to elaborate more than the drama can honestly and it had me hooked the whole time. I would most definitely be out a gazillion yen because I have yet to figure out even a single one of the Liar Game challenges. It is a very talky manga and many pages are often spent explaining the rules of each round, each character's thought process, the counter thought process, etc. It's not a manga for impatient people I guess, lol. I'll have to admit that sometimes I just flip through the explanations because they are too hard for me to understand. But ... for being a talky manga, it's still pretty addictive.

The art is probably the weakest part of this manga.

Smart like Death Note (but Death Note is still the better manga).
