I’ll give “Please Don't Bully Me, Nagatoro” a solid 6.5/10

In order to fully understand “Please Don't Bully Me, Nagatoro” you have to understand where the characters came from. You see both main characters were used before in other media such as games and webtoons, and in these characters, Nagatoro was just a straight up sadist and found joy out of torturing the guy she had feelings for. A lot of people are shocked by how the characters act and I just wanted to clear that up, with that said, however, this is the review.

Story: 6
Simple but often lackluster.

The story is very simple and often doesn’t revolve outside the lives of the two main characters inside the small confines of one clubroom. Not exactly the worst I’ve ever heard and the simplistic nature allows for the author to focus purely on the relationship between the characters, however, this also makes all… two other characters completely irrelevant if they’re in the same frame as the main characters which is a shame since they probably could’ve been fleshed out a little more.

Art: 8
Better than anything I could draw but not the best I’ve ever seen.

Personally, I can’t draw for shit, so this is an extremely biased review. I will say, that background characters and objects are reduced to basically a few lines a couple of times.

Character: 5
Stereotypical at best, boring at worst.

This is my most serious gripe with this manga, the characters are just stand-alone extreme variants of popular tropes that you might see in one shot characters. However, they do flesh out the main characters during the progression of the manga, it’s not the best but I’m optimistic about the future.

Enjoyment 6:
Kinda good

The show could’ve been so much better but in all honesty, it’s a huge improvement from what it used to be.
Overall 7:
Gotta round the number up but if I could I’d give it a 6.5
