Hanakaku review

The major problem with this manga is the fact that the short chapter length makes it feel like a new promising serialization that just abruptly got the axe just after it got started. It's like if you ended history's greatest disciple Kenichi at chapter 21. I weep for what could have been but celebrate what I did get the pleasure of reading. Some may find the main villains campy as hell and walking 80s anime tropes, but I find them charming all the same. You really want to fucking stab this bitch, in fact when I read this I fantasized about poking this bitch's eyes out in anger while imagining what the MC was feeling. Another negative is that since the story is so short and it's a fighting manga you never really see the MC's talent and potential fully bloom and transform into a monster that can't be stopped like in other long form sports manga like prince on tennis or major. I highly recommend basically every manga I mentioned in my review and of course the titular manga in which this review is of. Art might as well be a ten because it serves it's purpose just fine. Good translation as well although the cat girl is a demerit for sure lol.
