Summary
In 2036, a new axis was discovered in the 3D realm, creating the fourth dimension named Dimension W. Limitless power from Dimension W is supplied through devices known as "Coils," powering devices and machinery around the globe thanks to New Tesla Energy and the government's effort to harness its source. Kyouma Mabuchi, an illegal Coil collector, despises the use of this new technology. As an old-school junkie that has cars running on gas and pays for everything with cash, he is a lone wolf in a world saturated with technological advancement.

However, while on the search to confiscate illegal Coils one day, Kyouma meets the gyroid Mira Yurizaki. Mira needs Coils to save her dying father, the founder of New Tesla Energy. Thus she joins the reluctant Kyouma on his duties, and together they begin solving the mysteries that lie behind the illegal modified Coils. Along the way, they also uncover the disturbing truth behind New Tesla Energy, as well as their own seemingly intertwined personal history.

premises: I am not a native English speaker, so I apologize in advance if my writing is "robotic" or "raw", also it is my first time that I leave a review here, on MAL, so I hope to be able to make it useful or interesting, I apologize if there will be spoilers, but I don't think they are that "big" and so you can read them if you haven't read the manga yet.

The world created by the author and the stories around some characters were very interesting, but both were not developed properly due to the haste especially visible after the Easter Island arch, reaching the point where around chapter 100 the pages of each chapter increase by about 15/12 pages then arriving at an ending that added more lore, presented at the last other characters as well interesting etc, all of this in the last 4-6 chapters. What can I say, as far as the plot is concerned, I think that "dimension w" started with good premises but it ended in a hurry. Let's start from the fact that this manga should (on paper) be a seinen but instead going further and further it is practically a shonen, the author has used too many cliches (in particular the classic cliche from shonen) ruining the story sometimes, especially in the Easter Island arc, aside from these issues, as for the w dimension itself, it is intriguing but I think the author did not have clear ideas often, sometimes ending up creating a "fantasy" situations.

Loser and Elizabeth were characters that I loved right away and I wanted the author to develop their stories more, but not only them, I think that all the collectors presented had a very good basis for having good storylines, and the world in the underground of the last arch? fantastic, but also that did not last long: /. I think everything else is great. And reading the discussions in the MAL forum I seem to understand that I am not the only one to think this way.

as for the drawing, I think the author has a good style and the manga is in fact well designed, the fights are fluid and there is no difficulty in understanding what happens (unlike for example tokyo ghoul where often it happens that you do not understand anything) the character design is very nice and the author never goes into useless fanservice, especially in these times it is a miracle. Although the style, especially of the robots and weapons reminds me of an American comic rather than a manga. The covers are nice and not "anonymous", they have a nice style.

it's a real shame that the manga was treated in this way, I don't know if it was the author who was in a hurry, maybe he was tired of the work, or the publisher was in a hurry to finish the serialization, in short, in a way or in the other we came to see a manga that had a GREAT potential thrown to the wind by the typical rush. This manga should have had at least 180-200 chapters to end well and leave room for great plot and character development.

I usually do not review anything and I put a vote directly, but this manga got me very positively but at the same time the haste and some decisions of the author did not satisfy me at all.
Do I recommend reading this manga? absolutely, but forget to read a seinen, it's a full-fledged sci-fi shonen.

A world where we don't have to worry about batteries and changing them, a world where there's no electricity system as we know now withe cables and plugs, imagine a world where we can get continues energy any time anywhere on earth, the inventors created a device called Coil that can extract unlimited energy from a dimension called W born from the x,y,z axes.

Basically it's just like when u have your phone and connect it to the internet by W-Fi network, but with Coil u get energy, how cool is that!!

Story: 7
The story looks promising so far, it's a good start, it have the potential to give us enjoyable time withe exiting action, adventure and even plot twists, If it continue at this rate, so far withe only 6 chapters out yet translated to English I can't really say more.

Characters: 7
The characters are good but they are actually kinda typical u know the kinda u see always in the anime world, kyoma is the tough guy with hard past how acts funny sometimes, Mira the robot she is the one who is moving the story and thus making a plot, and who which kyoma hates and she end up sticking with him how surprising is that ,and the other characters cricket who is like a scientist in-spite the fact that he is a kid
and the boss Marie who is acting like a boss lol, anyway they are still enjoyable and I loved them and u will feel that they are special in-spite being typical.

Art: 8
Very good love it the style and how the characters are draw and the details in bg , it's well done.

Enjoyment: 7
It's enjoyable for sure so far.

Overall: 7.5 but If we make it 8 I think it will still deserve it
I can't still tell how this manga will go and how strong the plot well be but for a first 6 chapters it's good, and u should definitely give it a tray
