Summary
Parallel to our dimension is a world filled with magic, home to a host of mystical beings and fantastical powers. Humanity has learned to harness these forces and bring forth that world's entities to do their bidding through the power of "summoners." Our world has never been the same.
Fifteen years later, Kazuki Hayashizaki is chosen as the first male summoner. His attendance in an all-female summoner class, however, is met with opposition-and none so strongly than from his own sister, the school's most skilled swordsman. As Kazuki is torn between the way of the sword and the world of summoning, can he overcome adversity and learn to harness his new powers?

Magika no Kenshi to Basileus review
Magika no Kenshi to Shoukan Maou is without a doubt one of the most derivative works to appear these two years.
A fanservice manga filled with busty curvy girls in short skirts and thigh highs and a single male character, Magikenshi follows the "Battle Academy Harem" formula without a hint of innovation or originality in its characters and setting and is completely unashamed of doing so. You flat out will not find anything that this series does that other such series do not already provide. All in all, an adequate intro to the tired Battle Academy Harem genre for a neophyte manga reader, but for anyone looking for a gripping story, deep and interesting characters and an expansive background setting to be explored, look elsewhere. |

God it is trash, the only thing that save the manga is the outstanding art thanks to Chun
About the story nothing to say apart the fact that it is a basic magic school settings and holy, it is generic. There's nothing special about that manga like truly there is nothing, it is the void the relations between the characters ? ok so your telling me that a boy in his teenage years which is with multiple girls which the physics is really attractive and those girls would litteraly kill themselves to save him because they all love him, and this guy dosen't have a single relationship with any of them ? Like I dont want an hentai scene each fucking chapter but idk make us understand that the realtionship is more that just kissing and saying long fucking speeches about "your are so special" that no one gives a shit, is that guys even human ? there is not a single man who would stand still with so many girls beging for his dick, that dosen't make any sens he dosen't have a soulmate nor a girl he really loved, and the relations developpements could bring jealousy between the girls and had some drama to that pile of shit, and for god sake you japanese animals can't make the difference between a fucking pentacle and a fucking david stars am I watching a Mossad military training program ? |

You guys shouldn't judge this manga based on few chapters, if u guys want to know how great it is then read the LN on Baka. At first the MC has same characteristic from others LN that may make u guys bored but then after few volume he realized that in order to become stronger and being able to protect everyone he have to make a harem , after that he become really proactive, all girls will have to fall for him. The story is also very interesting with a bit dark ,the MC together with his harem have to fight to protect his
country from the invasion of other countries. the series also have a lot of fan service make the story really amusing, personally i also like the illustration girl's bodies look hot AF. This LN is a magnificent Dating sims x harem x action 10/10 definately

Magika no Kenshi to Basileus review
Honestly, this is not your typical distasteful fan service manga. While there are a lot of nudity, the manga in its entirety is enjoyable. The story is also quite fun, even though it might be predictable at times, however it is not entirely generic, as some events might surprise you. The art is very beautiful, though I have to say that the size of racks on these chicks is ridiculous, and so are their battle uniforms (guy wears a full set and girls are barely covered).
If you hate harem type echii manga, then this will not be for you. Though keep in mind that for some reason this manga seems to come out on top even while using such tactics, which are generally used by artists because their whole concept is bad. |
Magika no Kenshi to Basileus review
I am genuinely surprised at the people giving this manga a 9 or 10 rating when it clearly does not deserve it.
Magika no Kenshi is a fan-service ridden typical magic highschool with a LN protagonist who is going to save the world with his over-powereed skills that he so happened to bestow upon him. There really is not much that's super interesting about this manga that you can't find in another manga however there is one aspect about it that I find really interesting: All the world nations and how they react to this new invocation of magic into their daily lives. I think this manga tackles this pretty well and it honestly is super damn cool to see. A lot of it however isn't super impressive but nonetheless I like seeing the implications especially when they introduce the runaway princess. It's characters are super bland though, there's the typical: Tsundere who is first girl Girl who can't open up "Senpai" who relies on MC and so on and so forth. It's an enjoyable manga if you can get behind it and the story has its upsides especially as you go more and more into it. The art is ok and generally its a mediocre manga. |
Magika no Kenshi to Basileus review
I chose this LN to read because it was one of the few finished and completely translated at the same time.
The story looked simple and straightforward at the beginning, but with the following volumes, the plot started to twist and wasn't just about harem anymore, although there is a big emphasis on it in every volume. I would recommend this LN to anyone seeking a medium long series with harem romance, magic and sword battles, some world mythology and a LN that is finished and fully translated, because this was what I enjoyed and what I think is the main article of this LN. |
