Mokushiroku Alice, or Apocalypse Alice.
Reading this was one enjoyable, dark ride.
Story- 9
The Labyrinth Disease. A mysterious disease that only infects girls. Yes, really, it's one of those diseases. Except this one spins it into a far better story. Rather than the girl straight - out turning into a monster, she creates a Labyrinth, hence the name "Labyrinth Disease".
After 6 hours, the Labyrinth will turn into an Eternal Labyrinth, which cannot be destroyed.
But, to destroy the Labyrinth, the girl has to be killed before then.
"Kill the girl, Save the world" is quite often the slogan of this series.
Art- 8
This is a light novel, which aren't typically that heavy on the graphics. But, the drawings included are good. They match up well with the dark, psychological aspects of the series.
Characters- 7
This is where most people have a bone to pick with this series.
The characters are far from the typical fantasy tropes.
The main character has an overwhelmingly bad personality, believing only in money and himself at first.
There's 2-4 side characters depending how you look at it. For me, it's 2
The first is stuck up, outspoken, and tries to command everyone.
The characters were, to say the least, intriguing.
The other has a trusting personality to the point where he relies solely on teamwork.
Enjoyment-10
I f*cking love this series.
But, right off the bat, let me be clear. This is not for everyone. It is an extremely dark, psychological fantasy.
Overall-9
This is a pretty good series that clearly separates itself from all the other "only girls" cliches out there. If you're looking for something dark, read this.

-- this is a Review for the the first 2 volumes (2nd volume unfinished)---

i really really wanted to loved this series and i had started out doing just that.

The setting was really good and quite interesting, the main character was great.

but what eventually began to ruin the series for me (i imagine i am one of the minority here) is how all the surrounding characters seem to mistake what is essentially Tsundere hatred for being a Shy character.

The main character constantly professes his hatred for friendship, comradeship and generally anything involving trust. However his actions consistently contradict his words.

(slight spoiler)

Many, Many times does he act against what he believes in, to the point of injury. yet he almost never acts against it, the few times i saw him do it were short lived.

i profess, i did not even finish the 2nd volume or read the third (at the time of writing this, it's all that is available).

(very large volume 2 SPOILER AHEAD)

even when a girl he claims to despise gets infected by the disease, he tells himself to not care and ignore it. but what does he do? goes and tries to save her (this is as far as i got).

TLDR: the main character is a friendship Tsundere, this coupled with an actual loli tsundere have killed my desire to continue reading the series.

Scores:
Story 7/10. i really did love the story and the set up, was different from the usual for a change and the author is really good at story.

Art 8/10. The art was really good, it had every character look quite interested (mostly with a evil look to their eye it seemed)

Characters: 4/10. this is where my biggest beef was with this series. i loved the main character. . . at the beginning, however his constant Tsundere attitude towards anything involving trust made me eventually hate him. the side characters? hated them even more, i liked none of them.

Enjoyment: 3/10. this score is only high because i started reading the series with such hopes for such a interesting MC, but this was eventually killed.

--This is a review for the first 3 volumes of the novel only--

when everyone in the world wants to kill your little sister, will you be able to be the first one kill her and save the world? or will you save her and turn your back against the world? A dark fantasy story on a modern world setting is what the story 'apocalypse Alice is all about'

--First Hour ---Please learn about the profile of the girl--

Story 8/10- the plot is easy to follow, but what it sets as unique is that multiple settings have been merged together perfection so that the story will not bore you with usual cliche setup.

Second Hour--Lesson on memorizing the structure of the labyrinth made by the girl

Art- 8/10-- the art on the novel and on the manga shows how dark the story is ,and because of this, the enjoyment of finding out what will happen next becomes more enticing.

Third Hour ---Lesson on the girl's weakness

Character 8/10-- the characters here in the story varies on what their purpose are, but i'll review on the MC. our MC not your typical weak, shy protagonist; given in a dark setting, the MC is quick on his feet, have a sense of humor, smart and willing do do anything for his purpose and also not dense. his jokes towards his tsundere are always gives me the laugh

Fourth Hour ---Lesson on selecting the magic to kill the girl

Enjoyement-- 9/10-- i really enjoyed reading this story due how the writing style of the author affects the imagination of those who read the novel. written on the POV of the MC, not many story with the same setting managed to get my attention to write a review with.

Fifth Hour ---Time for forming the teams for raiding the labyrinth made by the girl

Overall-- 8/10

if you like reading dark stories and also like dungeon raid elements on it i suggest you read this story

Now, let's kill the girl and save the world!
