Yaoguai Mingdan

So no reviews here thus i shall try my hand at this.

1 - yes this story has quite a few clichés and tropes in it that people will recognise.
The good part is that they are not ruining the story or being clumsily introduced. Each part has a proper story telling part to play which makes it easier to forgive the mistakes when they are introduced.

2 - This is not a very fast paced story compared to much Shounen or typical romance action stories. It has a medium pace and there is quite a lot of background building to let us see character connections. But it will have one fly trough the pages to know more.

3 - i have a stone set rule of any story i read, watch or listen to. Immerse me or i will rip it apart with criticism and merciless hate. This story did really well on immersing me. i laughed, i felt sad, i emphasized, i was curious and i felt a need for more (currently waiting for more to be released)

4 - That leads to the next part this story is balanced in it's telling. You have a mix of comedy, action, drama and romance and harem that each fits a piece of a puzzle. I rarely see a manga or anime do this well. But this one somehow manages it.

5- the art in this one is not the best. Nor is it the worst. but you can see that it also adapts to the different parts of the story just as well as the pacing does.

6 - Similar with the characters they have their moments of flaws but it flows well and feels natural to the story told allowing you a good dose of suspension of disbelief.
