This series is a masterpiece of Light Novel writing. Nothing is quite like it. Sure, school life Light Novels exist. But those are usually romantic comedies, or simple comedies.

This one is not one of those. It is a story about education. And while it may sound boring at first, the way it is executed further contributes to making it so uniquely interesting.

Basically, in an alternate future, Japan pours its resources into the Adcanced Nurturing High School, in order to form the country's future elites.

This creates a unique environment for the student, who have to compete, as if they were different teams in a company.

The fact that an inner currency (points) exist simulates the effect of money and how it can be used to bend the laws. The school life reproduces at the same time the competition of a corporate environment, as well as the ambiguity of real life through points.

The characters of class 1-D evolve within this environment. We discover a good chunk of them, the facade behind who they actually are. It is fascinating to see them change for the better.

The antagonists are truly great as well. They provide much needed tension and pressure on the main protagonist.

Talking about the main protagonist, he is unique as well. He is both bottomless and changes like a character with progression. He truly is fascinating.

I can only advise you to go read it for yourselves. This was a spoilerless review. I have no qualms about giving that rating to this series at all. It totally deserves it.

Because it is such a story, the anime could not reproduce its greatness. Don't mind the anime, just jump into the books. Don't use the anime as an excuse to consider the source material bad, you would be making a grave mistake.

Ever wondered who Mitsuru Adachi's loser older brother was? No? Bad luck then because that's what this manga is about.

You can forget about the title of this thing because dressing a biography of Mitsuru Adachi is NOT what this is aiming to do. The most you're gonna get is a bit about their relationship as brothers and some infos about Mitsuru's debut eluded in a few pages.

It's not exactly about Tsutomu's career either because he didn't have much of a career. It's more about Tsutomu Adachi making fun of his own lack of talent compared to his brother except I can't say this is any fun at all because he has no talent for comedic timing and his own character is completely insufferable, so constantly bragging about himself and acting like an asshole that all you'll want to do is to slap him in the face. Also, expect it to be filled with uninteresting textwalls and to look like ass: chibis look amateurish at best and there's some weird transitions to low quality photography that don't fit at all

I don't know who are the people that are supposed to like this manga but at least you're warned.

A crime detective manga which shows corruption and questioning what is the right thing.
Is it wrong to just live? Would you protect a life in front of you if it meant being hunted by many others?

The art is quite distinct and harsh, but it amplifies the combat scenes really well. It also shows how threatening someone can be with their facial features.

The characters aren't the most developed as of yet but they are interesting. We question why the MC acts the way he does, and if he is in the right.

This manga is enjoyable, and will only continue to be more enjoyable as the situations he gets entangled with become more complex.

As mentioned in the synopsis, the Love Live Sunshine SID novels are booklets around 20 pages each sold with the blu-rays of the series. The first three volume are individual stories about the 2nd years, the 1st years and the 3rd years respectively while the last volume is about aqours preparing for a mini-concert during their summer vacation.

On one hand it’s hard to be harsh on them because they don’t have any ambition other than being a bonus for the fans but you can tell there’s barely any effort put into it, they’re most often just summaries of events happening in anime, retelling of elements that you already knew about the characters or hamfisting once again some of the romance. Occasionally, some of the stories aren’t that bad, even if they’re banalities, they’re what you can expect from this type of work but the interesting bits are very few.
Even when ignoring the trite subjects, the writing itself is also particularly irritating, not in that it’s too simple, I don’t expect the prose to be elaborate in something like that, but these books are filled with giggling and shouting and heart and stars emojis everywhere. Everything is done to make them have a cute speech and antics but it doesn’t work at all in written form and it becomes very apparent that it’s only there to appeal to the creepy otaku part of the fanbase.

At least I can say the chibi art is pretty darn adorable.

A series of not-so-short James Bond stories

Story: 6/10
All of the stories are rushed and at the same time manage to feel dragged out. The strong point is definitively Bond itself and the plots are also fun

Art: 4/10
I am not a huge fan of this style, it lends a lot from old, western comics and is pretty simplistic and not-manga-like.

Character: 7/10
Bond is still Bond, the character doesn't feel weird or like someone else.

Overall (7/10)
Weird looking, corny and... surprisingly fun! 007 series is a fun time if you love the character of Bond. I wish I could say that more confidently, but take my opinion with a grain of salt, seen as I'm not the biggest connoisseur of the agent's movies nor novels (especially the latter) .

Pride is a manga made by the creator of capitain tsubasa, It basically tells stories about ficitial professional soccer players

story 8/10
It's pretty good, it's more a slice of life than a sport manga, it focus on the life of the soccer player, and these soccer players are players that are fighting against some problem in their career, but I wish it focused more on the soccer matches

art 10/10
It's yoichi takahashi's art, it's great, he has his own art style, something pretty interesting and original

the characters are quite good, but some of them are boring

Shimaichigai is a compilation of short stories/one-shot mangas/anthologies about Danchigai franchise. Each chapter is focused on one of the girls of the main manga (idk if the one-shots were written before Danchigai was created), containing ecchi and characters with completely different personalities.

1-2) Based on Mutsuki character.
3) Based on Yayoi character. Here she is a full-dere bro-con imouto instead of a tsundere, also Mutsuki is the tsundere here.
4-5) Each chapter based on the twins (I couldn't find out who was who), one is a nurse and the other one is the student council president. There are nudes, so proceed with caution.
6) Prequel of Danchigai, a short story about Mutsuki and Haruki, the first day he got into high school.

Haruki appears in all of the chapters as the Haruki of the Danchigai or another versions of him.

Overall: Worth it if you buy the volume and can read japanese, if not, just read the prequel that can be found barely easy. Finding the other chapters is a pain in the ass and took me hours, I had to ”read" it in a random thai website and I couldn't find chapters 2 and 4.

Finally! A manga version of my favorite Tales game! I mostly loved the extras which included characters that didn't appear in the game. My favorite character in this story is Kanonno, A cute girl who is part of Ad Limitum and has no memory of where she came from. You guys should read it. It is a great manga!

This really is completely incoherent garbage. The story makes no-sense, it starts in media res with no information on how things came to be nor about the world the story takes place in. If both the viewpoint character and the reader were ignorant of these things it would work, but in this case the characters clearly have information to make sense of the situation while the reader has none. The plot development is a jumbled stacatto mess with violence slammed up against slice of life comedy leading into pointless tragedy and on the next page theres tits everywhere. It's almost impossible to follow the story well enough to call it bad. Then you have the usual power fantasy nonsense, which is admittedly par for the course. But its hard to take here when its mixed in with enforced rape played for laughs and child molestation. There are hundreds of isekai series out there you can afford not to read this trash.

I was really disappointed in this manga. When I read the back and the first few pages, I thought, "Hmm. A real historical setting with demons and gods thrown in? Interesting."
It was NOT really interesting. Seto's falling in love with Marie was apparently supposed to go without saying (I really wouldn't have guessed he had if it weren't so predictable from the start), and so were her feelings for the prince. The characters were all really dull, and there wasn't much plot. Most importantly, it was very silly and immature, when I had thought by the setting that it would be slightly more serious and historically authentic. I prefer a touch of solemnity to something that's supposed to foreshadow a tragedy. It wasn't just silly, it was silly in a painfully cheesy, stupid way, and it was really, really boring.
I don't think it's worth the time to read, and definitely not worth the money to buy.
