Shingeki no Kyojin review
The great thing about this manga, and there are waaaay more than one, is the fact it doesn't need to rely on good art because the story alone is simply awesome. I started reading the manga while waiting for season 3 of the anime, since I needed to experience Attack on Titan a bit more, hah. I was honestly a bit put off by the art and it took me quite a while to get used to it, but once I did it didn't bother me anymore. Furthermore, I knew it's worth the read. And, you know what, in the scale of things, how
much does art matter anyway? Yes, I agree that outward appearances are important, because it's the first thing we notice, but if there's no good story line to make us keep reading then what's really the point? I've read very beautiful mangas/manhwas/webtoons, and their plot was just bad. Good art does not equal a good piece of work. I believe Hajime Isayama is a very talented author and Attack on Titan will always remain as one of my favourite mangas and animes of all time. It gave me a lot of wonderful characters, great story line and a unique kind of enjoyment I very, very rarely get from anything else.

Akira review
I don't remember where I stopped, not because it was so long ago but because I got lost reading it and ended up reading the same few chapters 10 times in a row before giving up like I tend to do in novels. Sure, it's technically amazing, but the busyness of the story and the claustrophobic panels just don't conduce for a good reading experience no matter how impressive it is. Maybe if I didn't have problems reading it I would have given it a much higher score, but I'm not revisiting any time soon.
Not the best for me, but not the worst.

Corpse Party: Musume review
From the popular game series, Corpse Party, comes Corpse Party: Musume the manga!
As it was a good day to set up things for the school festival, it turned down as they appeared in parallel universe of their school which dates back to 1927. Plot: 7 Seems straight forward. A group of friends got struck in a 1927 version of their school and can't out. They also have to survive against the Girl in Red as they try to figure out how to get back to their world. Characters: 5 Satoshi: The protagonist that is a bit too soft on others including his little sister. Naomi: Has a crush on Satoshi and greatly concerns and protective of Yuma, Satoshi's sister. Yoshiki: Take a chill pill and keel cool. Escape now, rage later. Miyu: Cross dresser that also has a crush on Satoshi. Ayumi: Class representative. Seems to like occult topics. The Girl in Red aka Sachiko Shinozaki: Sickest and an awesome villain. Art: 8 The art work was amazing for this manga. A lot of details on the horror parts and bloody parts. Overall: 7 This manga seemed to go too fast and needs to add a little more. The horror parts seemed actually horrifying and gruesome. The characters on the other hand should be more within the plot for example, Satoshi should be more alert and observate when there is something clearly wrong.also the manga could be more serious and less perverted.

ITSUDATTE MY SANTA review
When people think about holidays, the first things that usually comes to people minds are joyous, happy, exciting, fun-filled celebrations with friends and family. That may be true for most people, but not everyone in the world celebrate the holiday on that type of premise. There are many reasons that someone may have an unhappy holiday season, but there are very little reason why people will have a sad holiday season though out their life. In this one shot, Ken Akamatsu (The writer of the classic harem Love Hina) tries to shed light on how one can have a depressing holiday every year
and how one tries to lift the depressing atmosphere that shrouds ones holiday.
The story revolves around a boy that was born a right around the holidays, specifically on December 24, and as a result he is name Santa. This name causes him hardship throughout his childhood because he is continuously teased for such a odd name. On top of that his parents where never around for him, so the anger that reside in his heart continuously grows. The fact that is parents were never around for him, holidays were never a celebration, but it was more of a depressing event. Just thinking about the fact that your alone on the holidays while everyone around you is having a jolly time will bring your spirit down. ( Imagine: You are in Time Square in NYC and everyone is happy and having a fantastic time while you are all alone. Depressing, Right?) The main body of the story revolves around how on girl from Santa Claus Academy that has a problem with magic is sent to cheer Santa up. The story develops from there and we see a developing relationship between the two. The author try to bring forth the idea of Hope, Happiness, Desires, Dreams and BELIEVING. If you have every see anyone of Ken Akamatsu works, you can practically see how each character is going to look like before reading this one shot. The emotions are clearly portrayed and his art is clear but sometime the content can be overwhelming and cluttered. Although that may be true, it is necessary sometimes to get the full point across. His artwork in comparison to come other mangakas may not be brilliant, but it is awesome in it own way. The two main character that develop in this one shot as pretty fantastic. You can easily grasp their personalities and discover how each one will respond in a situation. As much as a one shot can, this one shot develops the character well enough to display a change in both of the characters. In the end with all the work together, this one shot is satisfactory. Since I am a Ken Akamatsu fan, I give this a 7 out of 10. ( May Be Bias) Thanks for Reading!

Zangekikan review
Story - This manga is a collection of short horror stories and range from curses caused by tainted water to parasitic type stories. All of the stories were exceedingly gory and some were quite disturbing but predictable. I got confused quite often as the stories would often jump backwards and forwards between stories that been told in earlier chapters and it was difficult to recall the characters and what had happened to them.
Art - I believe this manga was drawn in the late 80s so the art isn't amazing but I felt it fit very well with the creepy nature of the manga and the gore was drawn very well indeed. Some of the drawings were very disturbing and for an early manga, I felt it did this very well. Character - There are not very memorable characters in Horror Mansion, mostly for the fact that it is a collection of short stories and you will generally only see character for a chapter and more often than not they will come to some grizzly demise. Enjoyment - I read this manga while waiting for a train and actually quite enjoyed it and didn't put it down until I'd finished it so I think I enjoyed it quite a lot. Overall - Overall, I enjoyed this manga. However, if you do not like horror/violent/gory manga, this manga is definitely not for you. If you do, sit back and enjoy the madness!

Himitsu no Reptiles review
This review mostly concerns the horrific portrayal of reptile care of Himitsu no Reptiles—something deeply important to the purpose of this manga.
For clarity's sake, I got my leopard gecko a week ago—I'm not an authority on reptiles. If you doubt anything I say, feel free to do your own research. However, before purchasing mine I had done dozens of hours of research and I can tell you this much: The mangaka of Himitsu no Reptiles doesn't give damn about proper reptile care or, at the very least, they are extremely uninformed. I don't know if it's just a matter of Japan's practices but, for a manga that's dedicated to the love of reptiles, some of the portrayals of reptiles care was horrifically uninformed and near abusive. The degree of foolishness from this manga rivals PetCo, and that is a terrifying thought. What are some examples? Well, within just the first arc of the story, which focuses on a leopard gecko, there's three HUGE problems. 1) Using sand as a substrate for a leopard gecko will almost certainly kill it due to impaction. I have no idea why someone that doesn't know at least this much is writing a manga about reptiles. Please, if you get a leopard gecko, use reptile carpet, title, or (if you still want loose substrate) eco earth if you must. 2) Keeping it in a cage smaller than a shoe box is terrible. Adults need at least 20 gallon tanks and babies need 10. These are living creatures that will want to explore at least a little. Keeping it boxed up like this may fit the Japanese life style of "smaller is better" but it does not fit the life style of leopard gecko. Also, they need more than one single hide. They need a warm hide, cool hide, and moist hide. 3) Feeding it a reptile powder rather than live insects is just fucking abuse. Often, leopard geckos won't even eat insects until they see them move. Perhaps some will eat a powder (especially if raised on it) but many probably wouldn't. Besides, they need a variety of insects: crickets, mealworms, dubia roachs, etc. are required for a healthy and happy leopard gecko. These are three critical things the manga gets wrong about leopard gecko care and that is important because the whole point of the manga is reptile care. The mangaka seems more inclined to show how easy it is to have reptiles rather than actually giving good information on how to properly take care of reptiles. If anyone actually applies what they learn from this manga, they will kill their animal out of sheer laziness. I wouldn't care so much if this weren't a manga that has actual ramifications on how people may end up treating their animals. Because it paints reptiles as super easy animals to take care of, a reader might impulse buy a gecko, fail at taking care of it, and ultimate kill it. This manga blows. Beyond fucking annoying characters, it teaches readers how to lazily take care of reptiles in ways that will result in the animal's poor quality of life or death. I rarely feel this livid about a fictional story, and I'm the type of guy to yell about anything I dislike. This is an insult to people that actually cared enough to do their research and, even worse, a worrisome advertisement of reptile ownership for people that might fail in caring for their reptile.

Isekai Nonbiri Nouka review
I actually read up to chapter 20-something and the manga wasn’t too bad in the beginning when he was setting up his life but one of the main reasons I dropped it was that it turned into this huge harem manga and, I’m not really against those but, I hate it when the female characters become pushy and then the main guy character doesn’t refuse them and just goes with the flow. I can’t stand those. If you don’t really want to be with someone then just say so!! And the women in this one too are all want to have sex with him all
the time and they actually end up forcing him just about every time. Can’t deal with those types. Basically, I got so frustrated with the characters in this manga that I couldn’t keep reading it.

Emerging review
Ok, basically you have a virus that no one has ever seen before, and drop it right in the center of one of the worlds most crowded cities....sounds like a lot of sci-fi books right? well, it is, but its pretty unique in manga. few mangas address the very real possibility of a viral infection appearing, spreading quickly, and being unable to stop it
while the story is very original, the art is nothing special, and as far as characters go, the ones in this series are pretty flat. what rlly brings about the believability of the story and the detail that the author goes into with the disease.... overall, i recommend that you read it

Eien no Jewel review
It was just good and it's sad that no one has read it. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two lovers on A Transient Mermaid In Love and I liked it.
The part that I liked was that the reaction of the mermaid when she saw her would be husband kissing. The main hero also changed as well from being a rich spoil brat to becoming her wonderful husband. It could have been better, if they hadn't shown the disgusting scales on the heroine's body and the breast showing when in her mermaid form (they could have covered that up with a bra shell). But other than that, pretty good. I recommended reading this manga but try to avoid the parts that I mentioned. Wish they could have more stories like this on the manga.
