Tokyo Ghoul review

It was truly godly.

[very light spoilers ahead]

Tokyo Ghoul had a great story, it was original and immersive. It put me in a world with two sides, none of which I could hate.

Ghouls kill and cause tragedy and humans kill and cause tragedy. Both sides are simply separated by their nature, were they to be all humans, they could've gotten along well.

It's characters are unforgettable, all were had their way of thinking. Even side characters were developed, it truly amazed me. They were rational and emotive; realistic.

The art was awe worthy. Its characters' faces express their sorrow, the setting traps me in its world.

It was an enjoyable read, but I would be scared to live through it again. It leaves on a cliffhanger, wonder if I should pick up the sequel now; only to waste days of my life binge reading like I did with this manga.

Emotions, thinking, love, emptyness, these were magnificently expressed in this work of art.

I cannot praise this enough, but here's a warning, make sure you have free time before you start to read; you'll be using it.
