Thank you, I CAN read the title and it is NOT about sex.

I know, what the Hell was the author thinking. It's like a cook book called 'GREASE' (it just has to be all caps, don’t bother asking why); maybe it was an inside joke?
I don’t know but hopefully that hammered down some issues.


So we’ve got this mystery long-haired girl whose looking for a guy named Natsu, randomly enough she sees a guy who looks completely badass and thinks it’s him, following him into some apartment. And there is where the story starts…

*Cue suspenseful piano music with trumpet bursts*

I’ve only read to the tip of the iceberg so right now I’ve just gotten a taster of this story and it’s certainly not lacking. This whole what’s-gonna-happen-next-…! feeling is making me suffer and I really can’t guess.


It’s shocking.


But it’s the truth.

It’s a shame though that the original scanalator (Village Idiot Scans) had dropped it so I’m like ‘damn!’, hopefully we’ll be seeing some action soon.

The characters were pretty solid, and the best part was that they didn’t suddenly do something completely random like slip and fall on a banana or have random chibi faces with huge eyes plus a tongue sticking out in really intense scenes or when someone makes a mistake ( I don’t like them ).

There is a certain depth in the Manga that just permeates the reader’s experience; you can feel it as you read, see it on the pages and realise it’s there through the few gestures and conservative conversation.

Think about it.
If you just met a complete stranger on the street would you suddenly go hug them and tell them your life story: no.
Long-hair only follows the guy because she’s trying to find someone (namely Natsu) not because she finds stalking fun but because there is an actual need.

This means it is REALISTIC. This is why I love most (keyword being ‘most’) 80s stories because they have the realism that present stories lack. Well, most of them.

The art were those stylistic squiggles that I love (they’re not really squiggles by the way)! In a way, mixed in with the plot, they add this lingering poetic feeling. But it’s a choice thing, if you’re lazy or don’t have the imagination; you’d find it lacking. But if you can appreciate the atmosphere that the illustrations create and how they construct an opportunity for the reader to explore the story in THEIR mind’s eye then; you’re good to go.

Overall, I liked it; I’m feeling the suspense, I like the fact that the art was unique, I’m digging the characters and almost like a detective novel, I’m thinking: whodunit?
This is a definite recommendation for all you suckers who thought that the story was about sexualised rape.
A pat on the back for those readers who were genuinely interested cause they’re dynamic and all over the place, they get a free ticket to go read the manga, whereas giver-uppers don’t.
