I dont usually write reviews and this will most likely be the onlyone ill write but there are just some things that i need to get out befor i go mad.

But first, lets talk a bout the some of the things i do like.

Story: 8
The Story start more or less generic but hints at some deeper ideas right of the bat.
From here on as we finished the Prolog we get pushed into the acual story. Its pase
is quite fast but slows down heavily the in goes to explain some of the more political military stuff. but it reads well and easy can can be skippt loosing out on nothing.

Art: 6
Since its a LN there is not much art to beginn with and its by no means bad. It just really dosent stand out or fail to live up to the expectaion build up from reading.

Characters: 8
Almost all Chars are very likeable, some i find my self hard to exept but that plays in to my bias twarts implementing chars that threaten the current relationships between then main cast.
The maincast itself is a good mix of commen trops and unique personallity. for some that is more true than for others but none felled like copypastes.

Enjoyment: 7
Most of my enjoyment comes from seeing teh relation ship between the maincast bevelop and seenig how much an impact moders understanding and ideas have on this fantasy world.

Sadly this is also the reason for writing this Review in the firstplace!

THERE IS JUST SO MUCH SHIT IN THIS SORY IT REALLY REALLY HURTS!

The setting of the story is ur usual high-fantasy with elves and beast-races and all is still fine! magic? fine! arms and armor (medieval swors and armors) ? fine!
but the big problem is how it is handelt.

Fortifications are treated as useless.
A city with a gardison of 30k soldiers deffending it. Medieval Stonwalls sorounding it.
YEAH right!!!! We sige it and it will fall in a few days. As if Medieval people where idiots, building walls around citys out of bordome.
No one would have done it if it was useless. citys under sige where straved out becaus it was near impossible to get past the walls.

And that is just one of the things that want to make me stop reading when ever they ocur. My point beeing is that almost everything that is some how connected to military combat in this story stinks with po(o)p-culture missconceptions that makes it impossible for me to enjoy.
They are unrealistic and down right stupid that even in fantasy the make no sense and i dont take its fantasy as an excuse when castelwalls are just fancy decoration. Im a huge medieval arms and armor enthusiast so it pains me all the more to see all these thing disserviced and presented totally wrong.

Overall: 8
I really like the tory for its Charecters and how they drive the plot along by there decisions. the setting and the word are done well in almost every part and i hope it doenst fuck up some where along the way. I just wish that the millitary part of the story was more belivable and realstic in its owen setting, also that they stop using pop-culture misconceptions as if the where acuall facts.

In really shot the review could also sound like this:
"the story and charecters are gread the politics make sens but the military portion is absoulut shit"

Number of chaptes read is counting all prologues intermissions and epilogs as well as acuall chapters up to the and of volume 3.
