TL;DR
This manga isn't really for the romance, so if you are looking for cute moments look elsewhere. Otherwise you should read this.

For such a short story, it really has a lot to say. Because it is shorter, my ratings will be adjusted to match the amount of space they had to convey everything.

Story:9
I don't want to spoil anything (even in the first chapter) so it will be difficult to accurately talk about the plot. However, I can say that the writing is phenomenal and the structure and timing of the plot is really well done. The overall message is accurately portrayed, and asks questions that apply to real life.

Art:7
Originally I was going to rate it a 6, because it looks pretty average. But a few moments really stood out and the art style was ideal for this kind of story. It is typical shoujo style, so if that really annoys you, consider this your warning.

Characters:8
I really love Silver as a character. The MC is very well done as well. Everyone else is pretty one dimensional, but there is only so much you can do with a short amount of time. The characters are portrayed somewhat realistically. It is also a lot of fun watching the two MCs grow.

Enjoyment:8
It is nice to see romances that aren't "copy paste". This one was really well done. The art was its weakest point, but didn't stop you from enjoying it.

Overall:8
A solid manga that was probably lucky to be cut short. If it had more to the story it would have been far less great. It asks questions that are becoming more applicable as technology progresses.

If you like drama, this is the manga for you. I admit I loved it, (read it three times, to be honest) even though it has so much cliche and unnecessary smut. I'm a sucker for a good old fashioned "revenge plot" stories.
Story 7/10
This manga is based on Penny Jordan's (English writer, mostly romance) novel "Silver" and I didn't like it at all, the manga is way better. I gave it a seven because the quality drops in the end, and there are parts where the plot is dragged on too much for my taste. From the summary, you can get the conclusion that this is, in fact, a soap opera. A good one.
Characters: 9/10
I loved all the characters, (yes, even the heroine, goodness gracious, although I wanted to smack her few times in the end). My favorite has to be Jake, the poor fellow was put through shitstorm, but then again, all the charas were. Especially Geraldine, aka. Silver.
Now, as for the "evil ones," I actually think they are done fine, realistic even.
The asshole Charles is not a typical villain. There is that "gray area" which makes every character more relatable, and all in all, there is a development in each of the main characters.
Art 10/10
Don't know about you, but I adore Kazuko Fujita's art.
Enjoyment 8/10
I measure my enjoyment with one simple fact: did it keep me glued, wanting for more.
Example: Let's just read another chapter (9 pm)... Later: Oh boy, just one more... (3 am). xD
Overall 8/10
Quick and easy read, makes you want more and more until you reach the few chapters in the end. Still, if you are a fan of josei genre, this is a must read for you.

So Silver is a story about a rich girl who falls in love with her cousin, Charles, who is only after her for her money and proceeds to kill her father after which, she decides to get revenge. The story reminded me of The Count of Monte Cristo. Her life sucks for a bit, she completely changes herself and goes about getting her revenge, but this is more about romance and takes place in modern times.

The pacing of the story seemed about right. It didn't feel rushed and it didn't keep painfully dragging on. The backstory get fleshed out fairly well although I thought they should've had more of her father in it. One annoying thing about the story is that whenever the main character gets into really big trouble, someone always conveniently shows up to save her just in the nick of time. It would've been more interesting for her character if she wasn't always saved. But it only happens a couple of times and doesn't really soil overall experience. There are also some strange coincidences, but by manga standards, it's pretty normal and never seems melodramatic or silly.

The characters are all good. I thought the development of the main character was well done, but you only get her perspective. The other characters suffer a bit, one of which you only know as "bad drug dealer girl who killed some people" and that's as far as her character goes. Again, still enjoyable but there was room for more. Also it's a smut manga so you got that too. Most of these scenes are of her "training" to seduce Charles, and her seducing Charles. They're not long, and they fit with the story but they happen frequently.

Overall it was an enjoyable read. Fairly low on the drama, but the story is still compelling and interesting. I was never dieing to find out what happens next but I was interested enough to finish it in one sitting. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys smut or if you really want a story about revenge.
