Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
I'll keep this brief without any spoiler and assuming you know what you are getting into because you have heard about this before coming here, and you know this is a hotly debated topic right now with the anime coming out.

Recently a bunch of manga has been getting made with the idea of "MC was a good person until someone really forced him not to be one." This is not supposed to be a happy story. MC doesn't have the capacity to forgive everyone like Jesus Christ. He went over the edge as a lot of people would if they were in his shoes. The only person finding pleasure in this is the MC themselves. These stories are for the self-satisfaction that not everyone has to be the stellar individual who puts up with way more shit than they needed to in the first place. I could describe what happened to the MC with tags you find on disturbing hentai and it would only make more sense.

Most anime pander to the "It's my duty," and all the jazz. This one decides to allow the coin to fall on the other side for once. Granted, these people he is going after are not good people. It simply shows dirty work done by someone who is down to get dirty.

This is also pretty bad on its own, this is a story that will never be socially acceptable, so don't get into it and then complain about how graphic it is. It isn't for kids. Recently anime/manga has been developing in a way where that rating tag is actually being used to the fullest. (ex Interspecies Reviewers) Not all Anime/Manga is for kids, and just because it isn't for kids doesn't mean it is hentai. If you come into this expecting a fap... I'll be pretty disappointed. That isn't the point behind this kind of story.

Why is this review relevant to where I'm posting it? You need to be aware of what you are getting into and make a choice after knowing what you are getting into. Don't watch this after seeing Fairy Tail and give it a 1 because it wasn't as "friendly" or whatever you wish to call it.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
I wanted to write a review for my first time to express the happiness this manga has brought me.

Story - It has a complex story that explains most/all of the important details of why something is possible which helps people that are confused coming from other fantasy genres. (Of course, as far as fantasy goes the manga decides the limits.) 10/10

Art - The art is beautiful yet simple. I am not an artist but I am confident to talk about the art in this story as something good on its own end.
The art shows only what the author wants, therefore, having an effect that matches the story perfectly! It is neither too flashy nor too dry which is an outstanding achievement. 9/10

Character - Every character has its own personality and therefore different development. Everyone acts with respect to their personalities and won't easily change their way of thinking for no reason. 9/10

Enjoyment - The unavoidable 18+ side of the show is the main part of the enjoyment brought to the eyes but. If you follow the story you may find purpose in the completion of the MC's quest. 10/10

Overall - Everything stacks together perfectly like lego blocks. 10/10
The main story is not left behind, the art doesn't vary in quality, the characters don't randomly forget stuff and/or ignore the story for secondary unwanted quests which are useless for the continuation of the show.

This is one of the rare finds which also gets an anime adaptation. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone who already read the manga.
I however don't recommend watching the anime before the manga because some useful information that is only explained in the manga is key for the overall experience.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review

*SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW also DONT READ THIS GARBAGE unless you want to laugh at bad manga this is the one*
At the start of November, a dear friend of mine had recommended me this manga to read and he simply said: "My brain hurts from reading this". Already its a red flag to me to read if your brain is hurting by trying to interpret a story. But I assumed this must be a complex story or somewhat like Berserk with confusing character development and world-building.
But overall from reading just 15 chapters of this garbage, I am thoroughly impressed by how such a good looking artwork is wasted upon the story it is terribly awful. The story is all over the place without any consistent storyboards it is jumping to one thing to another. The start of the manga is confusing as hell to comprehend characters are introduced left and right and we aren't told anything but we are only shown that our main character is a slave to the "heroes" even though he's a damn hero himself. What makes no FUCKING sense is how contrived his powers are given every single chapter he has a new damn power I'm gonna list what he can do within 5 chapters.
* He can heal
* He "reverse" heal and instakill anyone when he touches them
* He can change his appearance to any face or form without any effort
* He gains resistance within 3 panels example was he ate poisonous shrooms that almost killed him and he just suddenly has gotten better
* HE CAN FUCKING REMOVE LEVEL CAPS IF YOU BANG HIM
Now the story overall is riddled with rape scenes or just pure sex which is fine for ecchi manga but it shouldn't be riddled within every 5 chapters and it just makes no sense of the reason why it's just left for the reader of how or why.
For example, rape is just splattered all over the place our main character got raped he rapes 2 girls and then his friend got rape. It's like RAPE RAPE EVERYWHERE and its just for shock not even used as a plot device to further show a character greif it is only used to just get the readers attention by how boring as fuck this manga can be with its contrived bullshit that our main character pulls out rabbits out of his ass faster then the enemies are dying.
But people are gonna say "yo its an ecchi manga it is supposed to be stupid" which is fine but the plot of the story is trying so hard not to be and it even fails at being an ecchi manga. This would be better if this was just dojinshi because the story is so fucking bad that doujinshis would excuse for the sex parts because the artist is amazing at the visual scene. Also by what I mean, it fails at being an ecchi even if you focus the ecchi part and "read for the plot" it still blows because half of it is censored and you can barely tell what the hell is going on. Like Highschool dxd looks better than this piece of garbage I am profoundly offended by how this manga got a 6 and a half rating.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
[ENG]
Simply divine, a perfect work from start to finish, it deserves a focused and appreciative reading.
Definitely very underestimated, surely there should be more attention from the audience that sums it up only to the word "rape", the protagonist's feelings, his revolt, his revenge, is an indescribable feeling ... indescribable! He certainly has reason to carry out his longed for and expected revenge, which consists of ********** without spoilers! lol. The protagonist, whose name is Keyaru, seems to be at first impression a mental patient, but as the work unfolds you sympathize with him in an incredible way, understanding his motives and ambitions. He's a very good character who deserves an award.
The secondary characters in the manga are also very good, like Freia, who is a character who has a strong connection to the protagonist, she is one of the reasons for her revenge. I was AMAZED by what Keyaru does with her, it was unpredictable, surprising and crazy, but it only increased my interest in the work.
I really had a lot of fun reading this masterpiece, which exudes both quality and entertainment, it's a very fun thing to read, and on top of that, it holds you up, gives you that suspense with every cliffhanger done right on time.
Romance is also a point to highlight, with real feelings that give you the feeling that the characters are really involved with each other, it is a very nice thing to read!
This manga definitely deserves a 10. It is extremely beautiful, the author has a beautiful streak, contains great direction in certain scenes, scenes that are magnificent in my view, contains well developed and built characters, who are also charismatic and you certainly cling to them. It has a very good, intriguing story, spectacular nuances, with well-made and unpredictable plot twists, it manages to trap you at extraordinary levels. The action scenes are great but they leave something to be desired in some frames, other than that, they are perfect.
This manga is incredible, splendid, magnificent, fabulous, beautiful, it is stupidly brilliant! It is definitely superior to any work I have ever done and I will consume, nothing will be better or as good. In short, it is a masterpiece, and if I could give it a grade higher than 10, I would certainly give it.
I recommend it to everyone! A very rewarding job.
Just an addendum: a twitter user whose nickname is pesgo recommended this work to me, I owe him a lot! Thank you very much Pêssego!

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
First of all, sorry for the bad and poor english, i'm from Guiné-Bissau, and i studied english all by myself since i was 12. With this in mind, have a nice reading and have in mind that this is all my opinion and i don't want to offend anyone that likes this manga.

How to begin with this... thing, i think everybody saw or read at least one insanely trash anime or manga in their whole lives, but this one is just repulsively bad written and it's an ofense to the readers' cleverness, this review contain spoilers, so if you haven't read it (i don't recommend u so) don't read the review, cause that will ruin your experience.

Story - The whole "story" its about the MC revenge against the "heroes" that treated him like trash, and that's absolutely okay, but everything in life has limits and when i say that he seeks revenge against the heroes that tortured and raped and treated him like a pig, im saying that he seeks revenge against every hero that ever stepped on the world, the author calls them "yuusha" but all and every one of them are just a bunch of assholes with powers, literally all of them are just bad and trashy people. And u might be asking "why the hell are they like this?", and i tell u this was the way that the lazy author found to make all the actions of revenge from the MC seem reasonable, he rapes, torture and etc. with the convenient excuse "they did it to me, so i'll do it to them", the author doesn't even try to build a world nor a nice and enjoyable environment, all the chapters are about sex, sex, torture, horrible jokes, sex and sex, it's like a cheap and horrible type of hentai. Not to mention, that the MC was supposed to be a healer and NONE of his skills are about healing, i think this is the best part of the joke, or should i call it "manga".

Art - Don't have much to say about the art, it doesn't have any originality, it's just mediocre.

Character - Well, as i said before, their all the same, MC included, all of them are just a bunch of scum, without a trace of personality, all greedy and nasty, and the most important part is that the majority are all women, so that our dear author can keep making sex and rape scenes that will secure him that the "only fap" fans don't drop this. The most ironic part is that the MC wants "revenge", and all he does is raping them and add'em into his harem to take care of them and have lots and lots of sex (i think this is the only thing that our horny author thinks of), and this applies to every single one of them.

Enjoyment - I don't think anyone can enjoy this, but i'm not gonna be a hypocrite and i'll admit that this made me laugh with it's hideous writing and horrible jokes.

Overall - I do not recommend this to anyone that have at least 5 IQ, just trust me when i say this is one of the worst manga ever made.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
I'm not exactly sure why I stuck around with this series for 20 whole chapters when everyone else was wise enough to drop it sooner. I was anticipating a miraculous change in quality, but no, Redo of Healer stays the exact same throughout, showing nary a single sign of narrative or artistic progress. Considering the outrage around it I expected it to be another tame outrage-bait ecchi series like Uzaki-chan or Nagatoro with some sexual assault thrown in to draw a crowd. Everyone and their mother was hyping up Redo as "THE EDGIEST MANGA EVER!" which certainly got my attention. Some people were questioning how it even got an anime adaptation considering the controversial synopsis. I'll admit I was intrigued and gave it a look. I love graphic, controversial materials as I am a morbid and self-torturing person. But what it elicited from me wasn't trepidation or disgust, instead it was irritation and boredom.

From the very first chapters the author makes it clear how much they want to shock and disturb the audience in order to draw their attention, throwing our hero Keyaru into a gauntlet of rape and torture as he braves his way through mistreatment and abuse from a variety of indistinguishable antagonists. And when he formulates his plan he has to go through all of it ALL OVER AGAIN so he can get his revenge! From then on he begins to turn the tables and dish out karmic retribution through rape. But the problem with turning rape into a gimmick is how much it becomes trivialized when used by terrible writers. So much rape happens in Redo that it stops being shocking and starts being annoying after the fourth or fifth time. Keyaru gets raped over and over and over in increasingly depraved ways by increasingly despicable characters for introductory portions of the manga. At first it's horrifying to see him be a target of such acts, but the way the author uses it as a crutch to pad out a chapter instead of developing characters makes it lose the narrative potency they were going for. And when Keyaru enacts his revenge by having his enemies raped or by raping them himself it just stops being shocking at all and dives head-first into unintentional comedy territory. There's no self-awareness or introspection here at all. It goes without saying that rape is an immoral action and a serious topic for many writers, but it gets overused and worth thin within the first 10 chapters of the series. Characters rape as frequently as one would take a dump. It's just a thing that happens, without any weight or consequence after the beginning of the story. In fact, Keyaru gets stronger when he rapes or gets raped due to one of his convenient magical powers. It comes across as insulting and asinine more than anything else. I can understand why it might've been so provocative at first for a lot of people, but I doubt many people read past the first few chapters.

The unfortunate fact is that rape is all the author really has as a selling point for this series. Examining Redo of Healer at a glance while discarding the controversial aspects shows how painfully mediocre and hackneyed the series actually is. The art is substandard and never shows much progress. Even in some of the later chapters, the character designs and backgrounds look lazily thrown together and unfinished outside of fight scenes. Background characters would be drawn without faces or limbs or as abstract shapes half the time. Do you like weightless violence and bland, censored sex scenes? Because that's all you get with Redo. and However, because I am an idealistic man, I would never go as far as to call the author's artistic talents outright terrible. There's some potential for growth. Even with the bland fight choreography, the illustration quality noticeably improves during major events. The characters are quite emotive and expressive too, you can see the repulsion and shame on Keyaru's victims' faces whenever he rapes them.

From a story standpoint Redo is frustratingly bad. The worldbuilding is brushed aside in favor of unengaging fight scenes and more rape. Right off the bat we don't get a feel for the setting. There is nothing distinguishing it from, say any random fantasy anime setting from even the past 2 or 3 years. On the topic of unoriginality, every plot point and character has been done to death by the legions of uninspired isekai and fantasy series released in the past few years. Shield Hero, another Godawful self-insert power fantasy anime, did the revenge plot in more interesting and shocking ways despite being an embarrassing dumpster fire in and of itself. In Redo's case said revenge story is all but dropped by the 20th chapter as it morphs into a bland, childish harem melodrama with hardly a single likeable character to root for. Speaking of, the chapters should've been shorter. They drag on and on as Redo progresses, to the point the author fills pages with exposition about stuff that we already know about to reach the page quota. With the way the story jumps around erratically, there could've been more time to focus on a variety of different characters of aspects of the setting, but rape and angst are the main priorities on display.

Keyaru was compelling for all of 3 chapters before he became a generic sociopath who only succeeds because of his asspull powers. He's what happens when you take all the worst traits from every "overpowered mastermind" type of protagonist and combined it all into one smug, poorly written dipshit. He's basically a hybrid of Shield Hero (forgot his name idc) and Lelouch but if you removed every likeable trait from him and intensified his "I'm so crazy I'm putting my hand on my face and doing an insane face" qualities. His female orbiters aren't much better. The main girl starts out as an unlikeable self-righteous bitch who enslaves and exploits Keyaru until he rapes and brainwashes her into being a submissive waifu without a shred of personality. Her main trait after becoming his tool is that she really sucks at everything and cries at the slightest agitation, because tee-hee, she's a FEMALE, guys!. Keyaru's next harem member Setsuna the wolf girl is undoubtedly the best character in the series because she's good-hearted, badass and competent, and she's got a clear character arc about wanting to be stronger for noble reasons. If the series revolved around her I wouldn't even complain, she's extremely cool in general. I can't even name a single thing I liked about the demon chick, she's just so fucking boring and annoying. I don't remember her name at all, but she went from a brooding loner to a blubbering melodrama generator in the span of a single chapter as soon as Keyaru kickstarted her character arc. And the villains are hardly characters at all. They all boil down to being irredeemable sociopaths who put on a generic hero act in public but rape and murder behind the scenes so much you'd think they were auditioning for a role in Berserk. And of course it can't be a bottom of the barrel fantasy manga without the random evil Church that's relevant for all of 2 chapters. Did Garth Ennis ghostwrite this shit? (It would explain a lot, actually.)

The main selling point of Redo of Healer is the rape and violence, but the amateurish art and pathetic characterization holds it back from evoking any lasting feelings or standing amongst the most well-known shock manga. The entire reason people like me frequently engage with series like this is for the depraved, grotesque and offensive content. Redo's cavalcade of gore and sex is frustratingly tame, undetailed, and lacks any visceral quality. The best thing I can say about Redo is that the anime adaptation is significantly better than the manga. As of this review it's still airing but I'm actually enjoying the experience of watching the series over the monotonous trudge through the 20 chapters I read. The staff behind the anime is actually doing well to make Redo of Healer a bearable experience and I commend them highly for making the most of such a banal, amateurish source material.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
You know , I've thought I've seen the absolute worse that shitty isekai stories have had to offer , but oh boy this story takes the goddamn cake at the top of my most hated list .

To sum it up , this has to be without a doubt the worse Isekai Revenge story I have ever had the displeasure of laying my eyes upon .

But I'll go point by point to explain detail why I hate this story :

1 . The title itself is a goddamn lie , the MC is supposedly the Healer Hero yet he can do all kind of non-healing shit . I get that in revenge stories , the power difference is supposed to be on the avengers side but I feel like the author was purposefully misleading people by making them think the MC is somehow the underdog here .

2. The story is utterly bland to a fault , while I do like me a good revenge story every now and again , this story was ruined by stupid characterization and lazy writing .

3. The sex and rape in this story happens so goddamn frequently that at times I legitimately thought I was reading a goddamn hentai . Which is basically this story but with even shitter writing to top it off . Its not even a surprise to me anymore and that's saying something coming from me of all people .

4. Every character in this story is utterly shit , the harem solely exists for the sake of sex and to be the MC's cheerleading squad/sex slaves . Which the MC has been doing since the very start which makes him just as bad as the people he's taking revenge on .

And the antagonist are even worse , their characters are so poorly and only exist for the sole reason of making the MC look good by comparison . The Sword Hero ? She's a serial sadistic rapist now . The Cannon Hero ? A pedophile who has his own network of little sex slave boys .

You know , when you need a torpedo rapist to make your MC look like the good guy , than he probably isn't that good a person to begin with .

It seems like every goddamn character in this story solely exists for the benefit of the MC . The antagonist are bad just for the sake of being bad and making the MC look good by comparison , the harem is just there for fanservice and sex .

Speaking of the MC ...

5. The MC himself is a piece of sentient human garbage whose horrendous actions are only justified by massively unrealistic Freduian Excuse which was caused by the author bending the world over backward to screw him over , to make his horrid actions look justified .

Instead of proposing an actually interesting moral conflict where the MC's horrid actions make him become just as bad as the people he is taking revenge on , the story just makes everybody else a million times worse to justify his horrid actions !

And of course , anybody who doesn't suck him off ( Literally and metaphorically ) is evil with no redeemable qualities .

In conclusion , the MC is by far the worse character in the entire series and has been without a doubt the worse isekai MC I've ever had the displeasure of reading .

Anyway , I think I've summed up everything I hate about this piece of shit . And I am genuinely amazed that this manga got a goddamn anime . Standards for making an anime must have really fallen if they're willing to animate this piece of shit .
